Discrete profile measurements of carbon dioxide, hydrographic and chemical data during the R/V Oden SAS-Oden 2021 (SO21) cruise (EXPOCODE 77DN20210725) in the Arctic Ocean from 2021-07-25 to 2021-09-20 (NCEI Accession 0278647)
공공데이터포털
This dataset includes profile discrete measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH on total scale, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen and other parameters measured during the R/V Oden SAS-Oden 2021 (SO21) cruise (EXPOCODE 77DN20210725) in the Arctic Ocean from 2021-07-25 to 2021-09-20. The SAS-Oden 2021 expedition (SO21) with icebreaker Oden1 (IB Oden) is the Swedish contribution to the international scientist-driven initiative âSynoptic Arctic Surveyâ (SAS)2. SAS will collect primary ecosystem data in the Arctic Ocean in 2020-2022 from both ice-breaking and non-ice-breaking research vessels. The goal of SAS is to generate a comprehensive dataset that allows for an improved characterization of the Arctic Ocean with respect to its (1) physical oceanography, (2) marine ecosystems and (3) carbon cycle. The complete SAS dataset will provide a unique baseline that will allow for tracking climate change and its impacts as they unfold in the Arctic region over the coming years, decades and centuries.
Oceanographic profile data collected aboard multiple platforms worldwide from 1959-05-26 to 2012-06-03 (NCEI Accession 0098794)
공공데이터포털
NODC Accession 0098794 contains physical and chemical oceanographic profile data collected aboard multiple ships worldwide from 1959-05-26 to 2012-06-03. These data include AIR TEMPERATURE - DRY BULB, AIR TEMPERATURE - WET BULB, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, BIOLOGICAL DATA, CHLOROPHYLL, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, PARTICULATE ORGANIC CARBON, PHAEOPHYTIN, PRIMARY PRODUCTIVITY, SALINITY, SEA STATE, Secchi dEPTH, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, WAVE HEIGHT, WAVE PERIOD, WEATHER, WIND DIRECTION, WIND FORCE, WIND SPEED, cloud amount/frequency, cloud types, nitrate + nitrite content (concentration), pH, phosphate, and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, bathythermograph - XBT, bottle, meteorological sensors, and Secchi disks. Mathieu Ouellet from Fisheries and Oceans Canada submitted these data, which were collected by multiple organizations.
NCEI Standard Project: International Ocean Atlas and Information Series Volume 8: History of the Arctic Exploration 2003: cruise reports, data (NCEI Accession 0304666)
공공데이터포털
This collection contains data collected by Russian and former Soviet Union oceanographers from 1870 to 1941 years from Arctic Ocean and Arctic Seas. Most of these data were discovered from the archives not widely opened to the public that makes this atlas invaluable contribution to the international scientific community. This archival package is a copy of the History of the Arctic Exploration atlas website containing html files, pdf files of cruise reports, data distribution maps, and data in comma separated value format. NCEI decommissioned the International Ocean Atlas and Information Series Volume 8: History of the Arctic Exploration 2003 in May 2025 with no further updates.
