This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats. Brisbane City Council's cabs service provides shared transport for residents to get to their local shops. The service runs on set days at set times. You can use Council Cabs if you are: over 60 years old, or mobility impaired, or a Pensioner Concession Card or Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holder. Council Cabs offers weekly, fortnightly and monthly services. The service collects you from home and takes you to the local shopping centre and back for an affordable fare. Brisbane City Council’s bus stop locations contains descriptions, boarding point and accessibility details, where commuters catch a public transport bus. Data includes Hastus ID, street name, nearest cross street, east/north, lat/long, suburb, bus stop type, tactile ground surface indicator, boarding point, road gradient, cross fall and date of last audit. Abstract: The bus stop marker identifies the location of the stop; however, the bus stop area encompasses the verge and the adjacent traffic lane, extending 20 metres before and 10 metres after the stop. Bus stop infrastructure includes a boarding point, tactile ground surface indicators, and a timetable displaying servicing routes. Additional infrastructure may include seating or a shelter. This dataset also includes information regarding bus stop accessibility, which is useful for commuters planning their journeys. Different types of loading zones operate across the Brisbane City Council area. Loading zones are located and operate at times where there is a demand for a particular activity such as passenger loading or delivering goods. Brisbane City Council has passenger set down and pick up loading zones available across the city. The locations of these zones can change over time, so you must check local signs to make sure you do not park illegally. These loading zones allow passengers to be dropped off or picked up without affecting traffic flows. If you park longer in these loading zones, even if you remain in your car, you can be fined. Make sure these spaces are only used to pick up or drop off. The following data is an indicative guide of passenger loading zone locations across Brisbane. Please ensure you follow the parking signs at all times. The Brisbane City Council parking occupancy forecasting data is provided to be accessed by third party web or app developers to develop tools to provide Brisbane residents and visitors with likely parking availability within a paid parking area. The parking occupancy forecasting data is compiled using advanced analytics and machine learning to estimate paid parking availability. The solution uses parking occupancy survey data, parking meter transaction data and other traffic and environmental data. This dataset is linked to the open data called Parking — Meter locations. The field called MOBILE_ZONE is used to link the datasets. MOBILE_ZONE is a seven-digit mobile payment zone number that may include one or many parking meter numbers. Additional information on parking meters can be found on the Brisbane City Council website. The Brisbane City Council parking occupancy forecasting data includes parking data for all of Council’s parking meters. The data attributes used in this resource and their descriptions can be found in the Parking — Occupancy forecasting — metadata — CSV resource in this dataset.
