This report contains Disability Employment Services (DES) commencement and caseload data by different geographic regions. The report includes caseload and initial commencement data by participant demographics, program type, Labour Market Region (LMR), Employment Service Area (ESA) and participant postcode. The postcodes mapped to ESAs document, available in the list of files, is a reference tool to assist in determining how LMRs and ESAs relate to postcodes. Refer to the ‘Employment Service Areas (ESAs) 2013+ (Disability Employment Services)’ page for information about Employment Services Area regions. From the March 2024 release onwards the frequency of the reporting increased from bi-annual to quarterly. Refer to the release notes on the Index page for further information regarding changes to the report.

This report of DES Outcome Rates by Disability Type provides information about the performance of DES providers in each Employment Services Area by primary disability groupings. The report aims to help people with disability, family, carers or others choose a DES provider. There are a number of factors that should be taken into account when choosing a DES Provider, such as the location of their office in relation to public transport and your home or other available information. This Outcome Rates by Disability Type report is just one piece of information to help you decide which provider might be best for you. The Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) Summary Report provides information on the number and types of items/supports purchased through the Employment Assistance Fund since 01-Jul-2018 (as well as related applications and individuals). The Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) provides reimbursements to an Applicant for workplace modifications, equipment and services necessary for a person with disability to perform their employment duties. The “DSS Income Support Recipient – Monthly Time Series” publication is a monthly report, covering the Income Support payments of Age Pension, Disability Support Payment, ABSTUDY (Living Allowance), Austudy, Carer Payment, JobSeeker Payment, Special Benefit, Parenting Payment Partnered, Parenting Payment Single, Youth Allowance Other and Youth Allowance Student and Apprentice. The report includes payment recipient numbers by demographics such as age, gender, state, earnings, rate and marital status.
SSA State Agency Workload Data

The dataset is revised and expanded from 4 to 71 data fields. It includes monthly data from October 2000 onwards for SSA disability cases that were referred to the state agency for a disability determination. When first released, initial claims information was available, but now new information is included on reconsideration and continuing disability review cases, with breakouts by claim title (SSDI, SSI) for each case type. Specific data elements for each state are receipts, end of month pending counts, decisions, and the number of decisions which were allowances.
