DCCEEW_Geospatial - Regional Forest Agreements and Comprehensive Regional Assessment boundaries
This vector dataset provides a national polygon coverage combining all Regional Forest Agreements (RFAs) and Comprehensive Regional Assessment boundaries supplied by states. A total of 12 boundaries are included, comprising boundaries for the 11 Regional Forest Agreements regions and one Comprehensive Regional Assessment region boundary. Regional Forest Agreements boundaries include:NSW :-Upper North East-Lower North East-Eden-Southern NSWVictoria :-East Gippsland-North East-Central Highlands-West Victoria-GippslandTasmania-TasmanianWestern Australia:-South West Forest Region of Western AustraliaNotes: Region names are consistent with the titles of each Regional Forest Agreement. The North East New South Wales Regional Forest Agreement comprises two regions – Upper and Lower.A Comprehensive Regional Assessment was completed for the South-East Queensland region, however a Regional Forest Agreement was not signed. The area within the South-East Queensland region is included in this dataset.Victorian RFAs were terminated on 31 December 2024.Areas outside RFA boundaries are not covered by an RFA and are effectively treated as having ‘no RFA’.The boundary for the Tasmanian Regional Forest Agreement is defined as the whole State of Tasmania. The terrestrial extent of the State of Tasmania was derived from Geoscience Australia’s GEODATA Coast 100K data product.

Clarissa Swarts - Regional Forest Agreement (RFA) Boundary (DBCA-081)
공공데이터포털
This boundary defines the South West Forest Region of the State used in the Regional Forest Agreement (RFA). The Comprehensive Regional Assessments undertaken by the State and Commonwealth used this boundary to assess forest management, environmental, heritage, economic and social targets to negotiate the Regional Forest Agreement. The initial RFA agreement was signed off in 1999 - the RFA assessment boundary has been static since the completion of the original process. Originally negotiated by DPaW and the Commonwealth, the boundary generally follows, or in part there of, other boundaries such as Interim Biogeographical Regions of Australia ( IBRA ), DBCA's (then CALM), regional boundaries, Mineral Leases etc

NSW Forest Agreements
공공데이터포털
The NSW forest agreement regions dataset contains the boundaries of the four current NSW forest agreements which cover the eastern areas of NSW. The regions include the Upper North East, Lower North East, Eden and Southern. NSW forest agreements provide a framework for long-term decisions on forest use and management. They were formed from consultation and consensus established between the NSW Government and major forest stakeholders. Forest agreements impart certainty for industry, conservation and the community. They deliver on the NSW Government's forest policy to: • protect environmental values in a world-class system of national parks and other reserves • encourage the creation of forest industries that are strong, competitive and ecologically sustainable • manage native forests in an ecologically sustainable way. The agreements are for 20 years and progress on their implementation is reported annually. Further information on each NSW forest agreement is available on the EPA website at http://www.epa.nsw.gov.au/forestagreements/FAS.htm
