This dataset contains the digitised centroids of smaller man made waterbodies (including farm dams) in northern Victoria using a combination of satellite and aerial imagery. Should be used in conjunction with FARM_DAMS. This data was updated in January 2019 to improve the usefulness of the attribute data.

Spatial boundaries of over 175,000 agricultural dams in Western Australia. This product is an improved version of the ‘Farm dams of the South West agricultural region of WA (DPIRD-083)’ dataset. This new dataset has an increased spatial extent covering all of WA, in addition this new dataset includes a further 11,6000 dams and every dam has been re extracted at a higher resolution. This dataset was created with Deep Learning image segmentation of satellite data (Vivid 2.0), with further filtering of each feature with a Deep Learning binary classifier. The imagery that this data was derived from was mostly captured from 2018 to 2019. Preselection of sites was done by combining dam locations from ‘Farm dams of the South West agricultural region of WA (DPIRD-083)’, ‘DEA Waterbodies’ (https://www.dea.ga.gov.au/products/dea-waterbodies) and ‘Medium Scale Topo Water (Polygon) (LGATE-016)’ (https://catalogue.data.wa.gov.au/dataset/medium-scale-topo-water-polygon-lgate-016).

Catchment boundary data - high resolution, nested digital product for Tasmania (inc Bass Strait Islands)

This dataset represents public dams and retarding basins in Victoria. The dataset is a point dataset. This is the unrestricted version of the data for display on the DEECA public website. For Water Corporations, Parks Victoria and AGL Hydro, this data is an extract from the FloodZoom Dams Portal used for annual dam safety reporting. The Dams Portal has two types of water storages, namely Facilities and Reservoirs. A facility can have many water bodies e.g., a water treatment plant with many ponds. A reservoir can have many dams e.g., one body of water with one main dam and several saddle dams.

This dataset contains spatial and tabular data documenting land cover and surface exposure ages along the Colorado and San Juan Rivers within the backwaters of Lake Powell Reservoir. Data were derived from aerial imagery collected as part of the USDA NAIP Program between 2009-2021, along with topobathymetric elevation data collected from Lake Powell Reservoir.
