Greater Hobart Urban Growth Boundary
The Greater Hobart Urban Growth Boundary on Map 10 of the Southern Tasmania Regional Land Use Strategy 2010 - 2035 (STRLUS) is a spatial tool to support the implementation of strategies for managing residential growth in Greater Hobart. Moreover, Section 8A Guideline No. 1 (the Guideline) assists with the application of all zones and codes for the preparation of draft Local Provisions Schedules (LPSs) and amendments to LPSs. The Guideline requires that the application of 'higher-order urban zones' within Greater Hobart (as shown in Map 2 of the STRLUS) be supported by a 'Precinct Structure Plan'. This dataset provides the spatial extent of the Melbourne Strategic Assessment. The State Government's program, as define in the 'Delivering Melbourne's Newest Sustainable Communities - Program Report' (DPCD, 2009), means the Urban Growth Boundary Review for Melbourne for the development of land, including associated transport infrastructure, within the following areas: investigation areas for the expansion of the 2005 Urban Growth Boundary areas inside the 2005 Urban Growth Boundary for which a planning scheme amendment to introduce a Precinct Structure Plan had not commenced as at 26 May 2009 (the existing 28 precincts) areas in the outer Metropolitan Ring Transport Corridor/E6 Road Reservation and the Regional Rail Link corridor between west of Werribee and Deer Park In accordance with the definition of the Program, this includes Melbourne's four growth areas within the expanded 2010 Urban Growth Boundary given effect by Planning Scheme Amendment VC68. These growth areas and the 28 precincts comprise: Melbourne's western growth area - Melton and Wyndham Melbourne's north-western growth area - Sunbury Melbourne's northern growth area - Hume, Whittlesea and Mitchell Melbourne's south-eastern growth area - Casey and Cardinia.

The Perth and Peel urban land development outlook forms a major part of the Urban Development Program’s role in monitoring urban growth for the purpose of effectively coordinating land supply and infrastructure provision within the Perth and Peel metropolitan area. The Urban Land Development Outlook 2020/21 spatially displays the future land and dwelling development over the short, medium and longer terms within the Perth metropolitan and Peel region, drawing on input from State and local government and the private sector. The 2020/21 release of the ULDO includes residential, special residential, retirement villages and aged care facilities, special rural, industrial, commercial and tourism land uses. Within the residential land uses, the ULDO captures future fringe and infill development of five dwellings or more across both single and multiple dwelling developments.
