Historical Bushfire Boundaries - Version 2.0
The Bushfire Boundaries - Historical Dataset (version 2) represents the aggregation of jurisdictional supplied burnt areas polygons that date from the early 1900's through to 2023 (excluding the Northern Territory). The burnt areas represent curated jurisdictional owned polygons of both bushfires and prescribed (planned) burns. This dataset was produced under Work Stream 1C - Activity 3 of the National Bushfire Intelligence Capability; a collaborative partnership between the Australian Climate Services, CSIRO (NBIC), Geoscience Australia (GA), and the Emergency Management Spatial Information Network (EMSINA). Under agreement this Project (Activity 3) will release a nationally consistent, harmonised and standardised historical bushfire boundary dataset derived from the authoritative state and territory agencies in both 2023 (this dataset) and again in November 2024. The information released within this dataset is reflective of the data supplied by participating authoritative agencies. It may, or may not, represent all fire history within that jurisdiction.

National Bushfire Extents - Accumulation
공공데이터포털
This spatial product shows accumulating snapshots of ‘near real-time’ bushfire and prescribed burn extents for all jurisdictions who have the technical ability or appropriate licence conditions to provide this information into the National Near-Real-Time Bushfire Extents product. This dataset can be accessed via the Digital Atlas of Australia: https://digital.atlas.gov.au/maps/64e4825780624e9abdd42e1d49afd27a This is a scientific product and should not be used for safety of life decisions. Please refer to jurisdictional emergency response agencies for incident warnings and information. This product is funded until 30 June 2026.
Dept of Environment, Water and Natural Resources - Last Bushfire and Prescribed Burn Boundaries
공공데이터포털
The dataset provides most recent fire scar mapping for many major fires that have burnt in a given area within or adjacent to National Parks and Wildlife South Australia (NPWSA) reserves. This data set is derived from Fire History mapping. The most recent fire mapping can be used for operational management and planning of fire events and ecological resource management.
Spatial Data - [RETIRED] State Planning Policy 3.7 Planning in bushfire prone areas - Townsite 50km buffer (DPLH-065)
공공데이터포털
State Planning Policy 3.7 Planning in Bushfire Prone Areas (SPP 3.7) directs how land use should address bushfire risk management in Western Australia. It applies to all land which has been designated as bushfire prone by the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Commissioner as highlighted on the Map of Bush Fire Prone Areas. This boundary dataset is to determine which type of BAL assessment is applicable; self-assessed or by an accredited person. Allowances have been made for new single houses or ancillary dwellings (e.g. granny flats) proposed in a remote location. In remote areas where a proposed new single house or ancillary dwelling will be located outside a 50 km radius of a gazetted townsite, a property owner may be able to complete their own BAL assessment. If your proposed development is located in the Perth, Peel, Great Southern or South West regions, this ‘special provision’ will not apply.
Historical Fire Management Zone
공공데이터포털
This dataset shows the boundaries of the province's six fire management zones that existed prior to 2014 in which most forest fires received the same type of response. These management zones were based on: * common forest and forest fire management objectives * land use * density of values at risk * fire load * forest ecology The 2014 Wildland Fire Management Strategy moved from a zone-based approach to one where each wildland fire is assessed and receives an appropriate response according to the circumstances and condition of the fire.
Fire history
공공데이터포털
This is a landscape level GIS coverage of large fires within the Yukon, spanning a period from 1946 to present. Original polygon size was limited to 200 hectares, when the first edition of this dataset was completed in 1997. Smaller fires are now being included, especially near communities. It is important to note that in most instances, fire perimeters only were mapped. This means that unburned areas within the perimeter are not accounted for, either in an ecological context or in annual area burned summaries. More recent fires mapped, with the aid of satellite technology may include large unburned patches.Although the temporal scale of the coverage goes back to late 1940's, Yukon-wide fire detection capability was not fully developed until the 1960's. In addition to this, access to regular aerial mapping was not readily available until that same time period. As a result many fires in the 40's and 50's were simply not recorded or poorly mapped, particularly in the north. For that reason, care must be taken when drawing conclusions from these data as it relates to the early years.
