This dataset features a collection of historical orthorectified aerial photographed images of the Brisbane City Council local government area captured by piloted aircraft during 1946. Prior to satellite imagery, extensive use was made of aerial photography to capture land information. The 1946 imagery service uses the Geocentric Datum of Australia 1994 (GDA94) datum and is projected in Zone 56 of the Map Grid of Australia (MGA56).
