Interpreted Faults, North-West Murray Basin
This dataset depicts the location of the Danyo, Hindmarsh, Tyrell, Avoca and Leaghur faults in the north-western Murray Basin in Victoria. The faults have been digitised from Macumber (1991) and Robson and Webb (2011). These north-south oriented faults appear to truncate or interrupt a number of cross-cutting structures in the Murray Basin. The Hindmarsh, Tyrell, Avoca and Leaghur faults all influence modern day stream flows which may be indicative of an earlier impact on the aquifer if movement has occurred regularly over the Tertiary period. The dataset was compiled by GHD to inform the report 'Potential Influences of Geological Structures on Groundwater Flow Systems' for DEPI's Secure Allocation Future Entitlements (SAFE) Project.
연관 데이터
Interpreted Faults, Top Strzelecki Group, Gippsland Basin
공공데이터포털
This dataset consists of both onshore and offshore geological faults interpreted from seismic data provided by the Department of Environment and Primary Industries (DEPI). The Strzelecki Group is part of the Mesozoic and Palaeozoic Bedrock (BSE) as outlined in the Victorian Aquifer Framework (VAF). The dataset was compiled by GHD to inform the report 'Potential Influences of Geological Structures on Groundwater Flow Systems' for DEPI's Secure Allocation Future Entitlements (SAFE) Project.
Groundwater-Surface Water Interaction Flux
공공데이터포털
Surface-groundwater interactions were mapped as part of the Murray-Darling Basin (MDB) Sustainable Yields Project. This mapping represents a snapshot in time of fluxes to or from major rivers across the Murray-Darling Basin. The regions where connectivity mapping was conducted were: Loddon-Avoca, Campaspe, Goulburn-Broken, Ovens, Murray, Murrumbidgee, Lachlan, Macquarie-Castlereagh, Namoi, Gwydir, Border Rivers, Condamine-Balonne and Barwon-Darling. This dataset includes the qualitative mapped results of the rivers within Victoria and indicates where river reaches are gaining/losing/seasonally varying in nature. An overview report that describes the method used to undertake the surface-groundwater interaction mapping can be found at http://www.clw.csiro.au/publications/waterforahealthycountry/mdbsy/technical/R-SW-GW-Connectivity.pdf.
Interpreted Faults, Wangerrip Group, Otway Basin
공공데이터포털
This dataset comprises interpreted faults for the Top Wangerrip Group, Otway Basin. Based on previously acquired seismic data, faulting was identified for both the Top and Base Wangerrip Group. The initial interpretation was undertaken by 3D Geo for Southern Rural Water in 2011. The dataset was compiled by GHD to inform the report 'Potential Influences of Geological Structures on Groundwater Flow Systems' for DEPI's Secure Allocation Future Entitlements (SAFE) Project.
Interpreted Faults, Latrobe Group, Gippsland Basin
공공데이터포털
This dataset consists of geological faults for the Top Latrobe Group interpreted from industry seismic data compiled by the Department of Environment and Primary Industries (DEPI). The dataset was compiled by GHD to inform the report 'Potential Influences of Geological Structures on Groundwater Flow Systems' for DEPI's Secure Allocation Future Entitlements (SAFE) Project.
Geological Structures, Goulburn-Murray Area
공공데이터포털
This dataset consists of a series of approximate WSW to ENE oriented 'geological structures' interpreted from residual gravity bedrock depth in the Goulburn-Murray area of Victoria. These structures segment the Goulburn River Valley into an upper, middle and lower Goulburn bedrock valley system suggesting that it is a broadening out upland groundwater system for most of its length. The dataset was compiled by GHD to inform the report 'Potential Influences of Geological Structures on Groundwater Flow Systems' for DEPI's Secure Allocation Future Entitlements (SAFE) Project.
