Jervis Bay Coastal Station Data 1958-1960
This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a coastal station off Jervis Bay, New South Wales/A.C.T. (lat. 35 deg. 07 min. S, long. 150 deg. 52 min. E) between September 1958 and July 1960. The station was set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring programme in the 1950s and was sampled on a few occasions only for temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen. Data from 1960 only are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart. Additional copies of the data are deposited with the NODC data archive (World Data Centre-A) in the U.S.A., and details of relevant data files can be viewed via their website by requesting the file inventory for this coastal station which is NODC platform code "09F5". Station details, plus printed versions of the 1958 data, have been published in CSIRO's "Oceanographical Station List" series. NB - As the database has been lost, the only data still available are those published in the JERVIS BAY BASELINE STUDIES Final Report.

공공데이터포털
This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a coastal transect off Bermagui, New South Wales (lat. 36 deg. S, long. 150 deg. E approx.) between January 1958 and Huly 1960. The stations were set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring programme in the 1950s and were sampled approximately monthly for temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate and nitrate. The data are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart. Additional copies of the data are deposited with the NODC data archive (World Data Centre-A) in the U.S.A., and details of relevant data files can be viewed via their website by requesting the file inventory for this coastal station which is NODC platform code "09F7".
Kiama Coastal Station Data 1958-1960
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a series of 50m to 400 m coastal stations off Kiama, New South Wales (lat. 34 deg. 40 min. S, long. 150 deg. 53 min. E to 151 deg 10 min E) in 1958 and at lat. 35 deg. 40 min. S, long. 150 deg. 30 min. E in 1960. The station was set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring programme in the 1950s and was sampled for temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen at depths intervals of 10m or greater, below the surface. Sampling was undertaken on one date in September 1958, and again between February and July 1960. The data are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart. Additional copies of the 1960 data are deposited with the NODC data archive (World Data Centre-A) in the U.S.A., and details of relevant data files can be viewed via their website by requesting the file inventory for this coastal station which is NODC platform code "09F4". Station details, plus printed versions of the 1958 data, have been published in CSIRO's "Oceanographical Station List" series.
Temperature - Salinity distributions / CTD data within Jervis Bay and out across the shelf: 1988
공공데이터포털
This dataset is a component of the 'Jervis Bay Baseline Studies' project conducted by the Department of Defence, CSIRO and the Australian Defence Force Academy. Approximately once per month between 1988-1991, temperature-salinity surveys were conducted within Jervis Bay and out across the continental shelf. Measurements were made using a Neil Brown 'Smart' CTD. On each day of sampling, ~10 stations were chosen across the shelf, with the CTD recorder measuring salinity, temperature and sigma-T through the water column. This record describes CTD data collected in 1988. For each day of sampling three resources are provided in the compressed (zipped) folder: 1) A text document providing details of sampling locations, as well as a CTD summary collected from each of the stations every 4-10 metres down the water column, 2) A map showing the location of each sampling station and, 3) An excel file providing the raw CTD data collected. This is one of nine child records that relate to the parent, 13391430-2ae8-11dd-a735-00188b4c0af8. A pdf outlining the structure and hierarchy of all metadata records relating to this project is available to download through this record. Also available is a pdf of a published working paper documenting this experiment and the results.
Jervis Bay Seagrass Ecology Data 1988-1991
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains seagrass productivity and distribution data from Jervis Bay, NSW. The data were obtained between October 1988 and July 1991. Aerial photographs and ground truthing data were used to map the boundaries and distribution of the seagrass meadows. Digitised seagrass maps have been merged with the mangrove and saltmarsh maps (Chapter 2) to create 13 maps of the marine and estuarine habitats of Jervis bay. Taxa identified two species that form large meadows and two other species that occur in Jervis Bay. Experiments on seagrass restoration were conducted and also at the CSIRO Marine Laboratories in Marmion, Western Australia. The data are part of the Jervis Bay Marine Ecological Study. NB - As the database has been lost, the only data still available are those published in the JERVIS BAY BASELINE STUDIES Final Report.
