The Crown Leases data set holds spatial areas of land under a current lease from the Crown within the State of Tasmania. These Crown Leases are administered by the Property Services Branch of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. They are for a fixed term and provide exclusive possession of Crown Land. Crown Leases are a separate layer managed by PWS Property Services and are no longer managed as part of the LIST Cadastral Area. This may result in misalignment with the LIST Cadastral Parcels dataset

LIST Authority Land is a subset of the LIST Cadastral Parcels layer. It portrays parcels of land owned, vested or managed by a Commonwealth, State or Local Government Authority or Government Business Enterprise. Categories include Housing Tasmania, Hydro Tasmania, Councils, Education, Forestry Tasmania, TAS Water, Defense etc. Authority Land attributes are the same as for LIST Cadastral parcels and include the authority name, title reference and property identifier (PID).

Vicmap Crown Land Tenure is a statewide dataset series that plays a key role in the management of Victoria's Crown land. It was created (June 2003 - Feb 2004) from migrating LCMP layers into the Vicmap structure. The layer provides information about the Private use of Crown land Parcels and Crown Roads. CL_TENURE_VIEW contains a number of Tenure types including: - (A) Agricultural including Unused Road licences, Water Frontage licences and Grazing licences, - (L) Lease including Commercial type leases, - (G) General Licences including miscellaneous community use licences, permits & consents - (P) Pipe including Water supply pipelines, - (RM) Reserve including land gazetted as a Reserve in Government Gazettes, - Tenure Identifiers, Tenure type identifiers and Tenure code identifiers. Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway. It is was created (June 2003 - Feb 2004) from migrating LCMP layers into the Vicmap structure. At this stage it does not cover Metropolitan Melbourne. The layer provides information about Crown Roads. The dataset is continually maintained, obtaining maintenance from authoritative sources within State Government. GOV_ROAD_POLYGON_DC is a polygon layer depicting Government Roads including roads as laid out on Parish Plans & proclaimed as Road in Government Gazettes.
