This topographic dataset displays the land extent of Queensland and comprises the state border (the cadastral boundary between states) of Queensland.

This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats. This dataset published by Brisbane City Council contains South East Queensland local government area boundaries. It covers the area from approximately Gympie to the north, Toowoomba to the west and the New South Wales state border to the south. The current boundaries of Brisbane are defined by the City of Brisbane Regulation 2012. Each local government area is made up of a reasonable proportion of electors in the state to ensure democratic representation. The Local Government Area (LGA) boundaries are set by the Electoral Commission Queensland (ECQ).

This dataset contains the legislative boundaries of the Great Barrier Reef river basins in the State of Queensland as defined by the river basin boundaries shown in the Queensland Drainage Basins mapping.

This dataset combines Brisbane City Council property information with the Queensland Government Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) to show property holdings in Brisbane City Council area. A property holding is a Council-defined and managed information entity. Its boundaries are generally based on land parcels. A property holding may consist of one or multiple land parcels. The Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) is the spatial representation of every current parcel of land in Queensland, and its legal Lot on Plan description and relevant attributes. It provides the map base for systems dealing with land related information. The DCDB is considered to be the point of truth for the graphical representation of property boundaries. It is not the point of truth for the legal property boundary or related attribute information, this will always be the plan of survey or the related titling information and administrative data sets.

These datasets are Land Resource Area mapping available in Queensland. A Land Resource Area is a group of related soils developed on a common geology and in most cases has a similar vegetation community. Refer to individual records for more information.

The digital Local Government Areas and their legal identifiers have been derived from the cadastre data from each Australian state and territory jurisdiction and are available below. Local Government Areas are part of Geoscape Administrative Boundaries, which is built and maintained by [Geoscape Australia](https://geoscape.com.au/) using authoritative government data. The layer is a property spatial representation of the valuation roll contained in the Queensland Valuation and Sales System (QVAS). A property polygon is formedby dissolving lot plan polygonsfrom the cadastre based on a propertyid field linkage to lot plan descriptions in QVAS. A property has a common owner name and local proximity based on its land use

This dataset shows the region boundaries used for the Department of Primary Industries Agricultural Land Audit (2013). The region boundaries were based on the Local Government Area boundaries as at July 2012 and align to regional planning boundaries of the same date.
