본 데이터는 지능형 교통체계 기반으로 수집되는 시내버스의 실시간 위치 정보를 특정 시점 기준으로 제공하는 자료이다. 본 개방 데이터는 2025년 12월 31일 오전 출근시간대의 버스 위치 정보를 대상으로 하며, 대용량 원자료 중 정책적 활용도가 높은 시간대를 선별하여 구성하였다. 버스 단말기에서 송신된 GPS 좌표를 활용하여 차량의 위치, 이동 방향, 순간 속도, 운행 상태 등을 시점별로 확인할 수 있다. 또한 정류장 통과 정보와 도착 예정 지점 정보가 포함되어 노선 운영 현황 분석에 활용 가능하다. 본 자료는 대중교통 정책 검토, 교통 서비스 개선, 연구 및 통계 분석 등 공공 목적 활용을 고려한 기초 데이터로 제공되며, 학술용 자료로 활용할 수 있다.
