Pacific Highway upgrade: Yelgun-Chinderah: species impact statement
AGC Woodward-Clyde Pty Limited (Woodward-Clyde) was engaged by Sinclair Knight Merz in June 1997 to undertake a preliminary Flora and Fauna Assessment for the preferred route corridor of the proposed duplication and deviation of the Pacific Highway between Billinudgel (Yelgun) and Chinderah. Field sampling for this report was undertaken from June 1997 to September 1997 and a draft report produced in December 1997. Information contained within this report contributed to the final selection of a preferred route within the identified corridor area. The refinement of the route and a subsequent review of the original report by Landmark Ecological Services Pty Ltd identified the requirement for further field survey.

공공데이터포털
The Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) is proposing to upgrade the Pacific Highway between Yelgun and Chinderah, on the far north coast of New South Wales. The upgrade would be undertaken as part of the Pacific Highway Upgrading Program. The proposal is for the construction and operation of a new dual carriageway which is located, for the most part, east of the existing highway and travels generally in a north-south direction. The proposal would start just north of Yelgun and continue through to an interchange with the existing highway, at the northern end of Oak Avenue near Chinderah. The total length of the proposal is approximately 28.5 km. The proposal has been planned in conjunction with the Proposed Pacific Highway Upgrade, Brunswick River to Yelgun. A separate Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is being prepared for that project.

Construction and operation of a high standard dual carriageway from Yelgun to Chinderah, generally to the west of the existing Pacific Highway. The proposal includes grade separated interchanges at Clothiers Creek Road, Cud gera Creek Road and at the Pacific Highway (Oak Avenue) near Chinderah. The proposal includes a tunnel under Cudgen Road. The existing Pacific Highway would be retained as a local road, with some modifications. Access via other local roads would be retained and some modifications are required. Service roads are to be provided to maintain access to local properties. The proposal includes the definition of a corridor of sufficient width to accommodate a dual carriageway, and environmental mitigation measures.

The proposal involves construction of an alternative route for the Pacific Highway between Billinudgel (Yelgun) and Chinderah in northern NSW, anticipated to require the removal of a strip of land approximately 28.5km in length with road reserves ranging between 50m and 100m, depending on the terrain.

Heron's Creek to Stills Road : upgrading the Pacific Highway : addendum review of environmental factors
공공데이터포털
The Heron's Creek to Stills Roads project forms part of the Pacific Highway upgrading project. The project will upgrade the northbound carriageway of the Pacific Highway between Herons Creek and Stills Road, located between 53.5 kilometres and 57.0 kilometres north of the Taree interchange. The project involves the realignment of the north bound carriageway alongside the existing southbound carriageway and the associated construction of a new crossing over Cutty Creek and a new grade separated interchange at Bago Road (the Bago Road interchange). The majority of the existing northbound carriageway will become a two way local service road, linking Bago Road, Burrawan Forest Drive, Herons Creek and local properties to the Bago Road interchange. This addendum describes and assesses only those aspects of the project amended since approval of the original REF (RTA 2007a). The proposed design changes and proposed inclusion of construction elements for the proposal. This addendum should be read in conjunction with the original REF (RTA 2007a). The proposed design changes comprise: modification to the design of the Cutty Creek crossing; clarification and refinement of the design of the road connection between Herons Creek Road and the two way service road to the north of Herons Creek. Installation of a 1.5 kilometre high voltage reticulation cable; installation of a combined utility services route underneath Herons Creek and inclusion of construction elements required for the project.
