Taronga Zoo Wharf upgrade : review of environmental factors
Transport for NSW proposes to upgrade the Taronga Zoo wharf (the proposal) as part of the Transport Access Program (TAP) which includes both landside and waterside upgrade works. The water based features of the proposal would include: • Retention of most of the existing jetty and covered pontoon. However, to accommodate the new longer gangways the existing jetty structure and pontoon roof structure would be cut back by about 3.5 metres • Removal of existing gangways • Installation of two new covered aluminium 18 metre dual-lane gangways between the cut back jetty and pontoon. Each gangway would be held in place by two new piles (four in total) • Two new transition ramps on the existing pontoon to cater for the new gangways • Replacement of two of the existing jetty canopies to accommodate the change in jetty size • Construction of a new covered Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport (DSAPT) compliant accessible ramp leading from the street level wharf entrance to the gangway entrances. The ramp would be held in place by nine new piles (three waterside and six landside) • Removal and relocation of the Transdev office and café on the existing jetty • Removal of the existing ferry arrestors on each side of the wharf to allow space for construction activities. Ferry arrestors would be replaced with two protection piles on each side of the wharf (four in total) • Changes to steel fencing on the pontoon to cater for changes in customer flows due to new gangways • Relocation of existing Opal Card readers and Opal top-up machine • Upgrade (where required) of safety and security features including lighting, closed circuit television (CCTV) security cameras, ladders to the water and tactile ground surface indicators, if required. The land based features of the proposal would include: • Regrading of the footpath and bus stop to achieve DSAPT compliance to the new accessible ramp • Retention of the five existing bicycle parking hoops • Retention of the public telephone booth • Removal of foreshore vegetation to construct the new accessible ramp. The proposal would be constructed over a duration of up to five months starting in late 2021. During construction the wharf would remain operational, however the adjacent café would be closed. Key features of the proposal are shown on Figure E-1.

New bridge and approaches at the Woronora River, Woronora: supplementary review of environmental factors
공공데이터포털
This Review of Environmental Factors (REF) has been prepared as a supplementary environmental assessment to the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) prepared in 1990 for the proposed construction of a bridge and approaches at the Woronora River, Woronora. The REF relates to the design elements, environmental factors and likely impacts that have changed since the proposal was approved. Consent was given for the project in 1993 and construction commenced in 1994. Footings for bridge piers 3-6 were completed in 1995. The proposal was then deferred for several years. In November-December 1997 bushfires destroyed several residences in the Menai area, bringing to attention the urgent requirement to complete the upgrading of the road and to provide a more effective access across the Woronora Valley for Emergency Service vehicles. On 5 December 1997 the Minister for Roads announced that work would recommence and that the project would be completed. Since approval was given for the proposed project in 1993, some environmental standards and legislation have changed and additional design features have been included in the project. It is important to both update the EIS in terms of these changes and to review any potential additional environmental impacts.

Echuca-Moama Bridge Crossing (NSW) : addendum review of environmental factors
공공데이터포털
This addendum Review of Environmental Factors (REF) provides a detailed description of the potential environmental impacts associated with the modification proposed for the Echuca-Moama Bridge Crossing to achieve a more sustainable design and enable substantial cost savings. The proposed modification involves a reduction in the length of bridge structures and a consequent increase in length of the embankment adjoining the bridges. Construction activities of the modification include: * Property acquisition - an additional area of about 1723 square metres (0.17 hectares) of land outside the approved project boundary is required * Removing vegetation * An additional 20,000 cubic metres of material to be used in the adjustments to the abutments. This addendum REF is to be read in conjunction with the Echuca-Moama Bridge Crossing REF, Echuca-Moama Bridge Crossing Submissions Report (29 April 2016), the Victorian Environmental Effects Statement (15 September 2015), and the earlier addendum REF (November 2019).
Rickard Road upgrade : strategic route assessment : community consultation report
공공데이터포털
Rickard Road between Bringelly Road, Leppington and Oran Park Drive, Catherine Field is proposed to be upgraded. On behalf of the Department of Planning, Infrastructure and Environment (DPIE), Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is investigating an upgrade and extension of Rickard Road for the section between Heath Road and Springfield Road. Rickard Road is planned to be a key north-south transport link in the South West Growth Area. The recommended route option is located within the corridor identified in 2013 by DPIE and Camden Council for future development. The key features of the upgrade would include: ? * widening Rickard Road and providing a kerbside bus lane in each direction * off-road pedestrian and cyclist pathways * intersection upgrades with traffic lights and designated turning lanes ? * bicycle and pedestrian crossing at traffic lights. In June 2020, TfNSW consulted with the community on the recommended option for the proposed upgrade and extension in this section. See Attachment A ‘Community Update’, including a map and further information. The consultation period on the recommended option was held between 8 June and 3 July 2020. TfNSW received 24 submissions from the community in response to the display of the preferred option. Key issues identified during consultation included road design, environmental impacts, property impacts and the timing of the project. Feedback received during the public display has been considered in the decision making process, and the responses to the feedback are contained in this report.
