More importantly, it lets people with disability participate in numerous activities with more independence and dignity.

This point dataset shows the locations of Pedestrian Crossings in the Australian Capital Territory. These assets are either owned or managed by City Services, Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate (TCCS). Assets managed and / or owned privately, by other ACT Government Directorates or by the Federal Government may not be included.Attributes include location description, suburb, ownership, maintained by, asset sub type (Signalised Crossing, School Crossing, Wombat Crossing (Raised Platform), Zebra Crossing), the associated school if relevant, if it has high intensity or flashing lights and the associated traffic signal identification.These assets are captured and maintained in the asset database through the works as executed (WAE) handover process or field audits.For additional information, please see the relevant municipal infrastructure standard (https://www.cityservices.act.gov.au/plan-and-build/standards-codes-and-guidelines/municipal-infrastructure-design-standards-mis).

The Roads and Traffic Information app for the City of Perth provides a comprehensive spatial overview and real-time data related to the city’s road network and traffic management. This platform supports residents, commuters, city planners, and traffic authorities by delivering detailed information on road infrastructure, cyclying infrastructure, restrictions, and transport planning initiatives across the City of Perth local government area.

This dataset contains a line network representing pedestrian walking routes throughout the City of Melbourne. It features links to additional land subdivisions and incorporates additional elements/attributes. The network has been created with the intent to assist interested stakeholder in multiple modelling tasks including catchment analysis and route analysis. The network emulates pedestrian behaviour, by allowing free movement in low traffic areas while penalising busy crossings with traffic lights. The network also connects to the City of Melbourne property layer through property centroids and connectors for all the different properties in the dataset.
