The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) All Managed Land dataset combines following four separate NPWS datasets: NPWS Estate Land Vested in NPW Act Minister - acquisition of land for reservation Land Vested in NPW Act Minister - acquisition of land for management and other purposes NPWS Managed Land Other This combined dataset is for reporting purposes when it is deemed necessary to include all of the land that is managed by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. Area hectares of each polygon have been generated in this dataset to assist reporting. Please note that the GIS area calculation was performed using Lamberts Conic Conformal (LCC) projection. This GIS calculated area will not be the same as the gazetted area or acquired area. The following is the description of layers included: The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) Estate database provides information on areas reserved under the NP&W Act 1974. NPWS Managed Land Other - Boundaries of other land in NSW which are under the management of the NSW NPWS. Areas include Crown land under licence to NPWS, Crown Reserve managed by NPWS, Flora Reserve managed by NPWS, and Enclosure Permit held by NPWS. This dataset is known internally as NPWS Managed Land Other. Additional fields have been added to the attribute table of the merged dataset to assist in determining management responsibilities. These are: SOURCE: Source of the individual tenure layer from the above four datasets TENURETYPE: Lists different tenure types eg. Reserved, Freehold, Leasehold, Crown land under licence to NPWS, Enclosure Permit held by NPWS, etc FIELD_MGT: Lists whether the land is fully managed by NPWS or whether there are conditions with management. Field management responsibilities are conditional on the terms of the individual lease, licence, permit or management agreement. As part of Phase Two of the National Landcare Program (NLP) the Australian Government's natural resource management (NRM) investments will be delivered within NLP Management Units. The NLP Management Units dataset is maintained for the purpose of authoritative reporting on the Australian Government's NRM investments. It is designed to cover all Australian territory where Australian Government funded NRM investments might be delivered. This dataset should not be used to represent legal boundaries (notwithstanding that some boundaries are defined by legislation in some states and territories). It is an administrative dataset developed for the purpose of reporting and public information. Alterations to either the attribution or boundaries of the data may occur in the future, for example to accord with changes to NRM delivery arrangements or to reflect revisions of state/territory regional boundaries.Current VersionThe 2020 version NLP Management Units dataset contains 58 separate mapping objects. These comprise:56 mainland Management Units. A separate object for Lord Howe Island (part of North Coast, NSW Management Unit) A "Marine NRM" Management Unit which combines Australia's Territorial Sea (from 3 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles) and Australia's Exclusive Economic Zone (to 200 nautical miles). It excludes coastal waters (to 3 nautical miles) which are part of the terrestrial NLP Management Units. It also excludes Ashmore & Cartier Islands, Australian Antarctic Territory, Christmas Island, Cocos & Keeling Islands, Macquarie Island, Heard & MacDonald Islands and Norfolk Island, and those parts of Australia's Territorial Sea and Exclusive Economic Zone that surround these locations. The 2020 version was derived from the former NRM regions series (latest version was 2020), originally established in 2006 as the "Natural Heritage Trust II (NHT2) Region Boundaries" dataset. No changes to the spatial alignment of terrestrial region boundaries was made in transitioning from NRM regions to NLP Management Units. The 2020 version updates the previous version (2017) with changes to boundaries of South Australian NRM Regions to align with new regional landscape boundaries (https://data.sa.gov.au/data/dataset/landscapes-sa-boundaries) under the Landscapes South Australia Act 2019 (SA) Act which replaced the Natural Resources Management Act 2004 (SA) Act. Minor edits were made to remove gaps, slivers and overlaps so the new SA boundaries aligned with non-SA NRM Regions. The "Hills and Fleurieu" and "Green Adelaide" Landscapes SA boundaries were merged to form the single 4010 "Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges" NRM Region, although at the request of the data owner, the internal boundaries were retained within this NRM region. Additionally a number of gaps and overlaps in the Western Australia NRM regions were fixed. The principle data fields in the 2020 version dataset are:NLP_MU (note this replaces the former NRM_Region field)State (state, territory or 'external' for the Marine NRM unit)Area_Description (eg land area only, state and coastal waters, )NRM_ID (as described below)NRM_ID and NLP_MU names, grouped by state/territory, are as follows:New South Wales (11 Management Units + 1 extra map object for Lord Howe Island)- 1010 Central Tablelands- 1020 Central West- 1030 Greater Sydney- 1040 Hunter- 1050 Murray- 1060 North Coast (excludes Lord Howe Island)- 1061 North Coast - Lord Howe Island- 1070 North West NSW- 1080 Northern Tablelands- 1090 Riverina- 1100 South East NSW- 1110 WesternVictoria (10 Management Units)- 2010 Corangamite- 2020 East Gippsland- 2030 Glenelg Hopkins- 2040 Goulburn Broken- 2050 Mallee- 2060 North Central- 2070 North East- 2080 Port Phillip and Western Port- 2090 West Gippsland- 2100 WimmeraQueensland (15 Management Units)- 3010 Burnett Mary- 3020 Cape York- 3030 Condamine- 3040 Co-operative Management Area (between Cape York and Northern Gulf)- 3050 Desert Channels- 3060 Fitzroy- 3070 Burdekin- 3080

NPWS Areas
공공데이터포털
The National Parks and Wildlife Service Park Operation Areas is a polygon layer that includes the 37 Areas that were finalised in October 2017. They will officially be adopted in December 2017. The boundaries denote the NPWS estate and heritage sites that are managed locally by each Area. NPWS staff that work in various work locations in each of the 37 Areas report to an Area Manager who in turn reports to a Branch Director. There are eight administration branches for the State.
