Watchimbark Nature Reserve Vegetation Mapping 2009. VIS ID 4490
공공데이터포털
Vegetation community mapping for Watchimbark Nature Reserve by Lachlan Copeland and Antony von Chrismar of Eco Logical Australia Pty Ltd. The project was fully funded and supported by National Parks and Wildlife Hunter Region and the Gloucester Area Office. The vegetation survey was conducted from June-July 2009 and included the collection of data from 13 full-floristic 0.04 ha plots and 30 rapid point surveys. VIS_ID 4490
Macquarie Marshes Vegetation Mapping, 1991. VIS ID 794
공공데이터포털
Vegetation Map of the Macquarie Marshes - This map includes a vegetation survey for 1991 carried out by Bob Wilson as a contract for NSW NPWS. All surveys provide a detailed map of upper canopy vegetation that has been interpreted from aerial photography. Mapping shows major vegetation associations and dominant flora. The complete set of maps and surveys is referenced as 'Macquarie Marshes Vegetation Surveys' in the Status Report, Vegetation Mapping in the Central West Region, Department of Land and Water Conservation 1998. pp73-75. Historical Vegetation Mapping in the Macquarie Marshes 1949-1991. This study aimed to quantify changes in the distribution of nine tree species in the Macquarie Marshes from 1949 to 1991. Aerial photography was digitised to produce GIS maps from both years, which were then compared to determine the changes in distribution over the 42 year period. Changes in distribution did not follow the same pattern for all tree species over the mapped period. While the River Red Gum community was found to be stable in its distribution, Black Box recorded a 38% decline in distribution over the same period. Land clearing represented the single greatest impact upon eucalypt distribution between the years 1949-1991. By contrast the acacias and dryland species expanded in ditribution over the same period, often exploiting areas from which eucalypts had been cleared. VIS_ID 794

Macquarie Marshes Vegetation,1991-2008. VIS ID 3920
공공데이터포털
This is DRAFT metadata and will be updated in 2011. Vegetation communites of the Macquarie Marshes floodplain in 2008 were mapped by updating the linework and attributes of the 1991 Macquarie Marshes vegetation map (Wilson 1992) using digital aerial photography (50cm pixels) taken from March to May 2008 and field surveys conducted in May, October and November 2008. Wambool Nature Reserve Vegetation 2000. VIS ID 1011
공공데이터포털
Freemantle Nature Reserve vegetation mapping conducted in 1999-2000. This mapping was part of the vegetation survey of Mullion Range State Recreation Area, Wambool Nature Reserve, Freemantle Nature Reserve, Girralang Nature Reserve and Eugowra Nature Reserve undertaken for the Central West District of NSW by Marianne F. Portners in 2000. Report for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. The composition and extent of the present vegetation within Wambool, Freemantle, Girralang and Eugowra Nature Reserves and Mullion Range State Recreation Area (SRA), in the Central West region of NSW, is described and mapped at 1:25 000 scale (1:50 000 scale for Eugowra) from intensive quadrat samples, field traverses and aerial photograph interpretation. Eleven vegetation communities are described and 302 species (308 taxa) of vascular plants recorded from 70 families, several of which are at their geographical limits or regionally restricted. A significantly high proportion of species (19%) are exotic. VIS_ID 1011
