Spatial Service’s standard imagery capture program covers the entire state of NSW. Standard coverage imagery is captured and processed at a 50cm Ground Sample Distance (GSD) and is available as either 5km x 5km image modules or mosaicked to the extent of a 1:100,000 mapsheet.

Local Government Area depicts polygons of gazette boundaries defining the Local Government Area. It contains all of the cadastral line data or topographic features which are used to define the boundaries between adjoining shires, municipalities, cities (Local Government Act 1993) and the unincorporated areas of NSW. The dataset also contains Council Names and ABS Codes It is a feature class within the NSW Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB).

Spatial Digital Twin Policy Framework The NSW SDT is a data environment provided by DCS Spatial Services which aims to share NSW Government spatial data and create a single platform where anyone can find accurate and certified information. The NSW SDT is a powerful cross-sector collaboration tool which allows the NSW Government to make data-driven decisions to create better, smarter cities, and plan for our future. The Policy Framework ensures the efficient exchange of information, improved data quality and increased usability of the NSW SDT. The Policy Framework provides data governance on how spatial information should be integrated into the NSW SDT using a series of guidelines and technical requirements, which ensures data custodians know what is required of them when contributing to the NSW SDT.
