Accounting rules summary: Water accounting rules by licence category for each regulated water source. Summary of accounting rules: The water accounting rules dashboard is an initiative by the department to bring greater transparency, in relation to information on the water accounting rules.

Held environmental water dashboard: A summary of held environmental water shares, usage and trade data. Use the held environmental water dashboard to view: annual held environmental water usage compare annual held environmental water usage against consumptive use held environmental water entitlements by licence category inter-valley trades.

Planned environmental water data: A dashboard for planned environmental water accounts and use in NSW. Use the planned environmental water dashboard to view annual accounts for planned environmental water allowances, including: environmental flow rules environmental water allowances (EWA) environmental contingency allowances.

Data contains: 1) Allocation trades (Water Allocation Assignment 71T and Cross-State Assignment 71V). 2) Entitlement trades (Assignment of Rights 71Q and Transfer of Shares 71M). This Dashboard (see the External Links section in SEED) contains water trade data, for every water source and licence category. For allocation trades, data on purpose of trade is also available. These datasets represent management units within in-force water sharing plans across NSW, including regulated, unregulated and groundwater plans (or a combination of these). The data includes both water sources and management zones (where applicable) derived from plans gazetted under the NSW Water Management Act 2000. The boundaries of these water sources and management zones are used to define areas in which specific management rules apply. As such, this data may be used to understand which water sharing plan rules apply to a specific location. The plans are in place for 10 years but may be amended within this time. Any updates to water source or management zone boundaries as a result of a plan being amended during, or replaced following its 10 year term will be made available at that time. PLEASE NOTE: In the case of any discrepancy between this digital dataset and the published Water Sharing Plan (accessible on the www.legislation.nsw.gov.au site) the instrument as made by the Minister remains the authoritative source and should be used to both interpret the intent of the Plan and in subsequent decision making. Best endeavours have been made in collating relevant Water Sharing Plan boundary and attribution contained in this dataset.
