NVMP Hay Vegetation Map. VIS ID 4153
The Native Vegetation (Multi Attribute) - Hay 7828 dataset is a digital spatial layer which identifies areas of native vegetation for the Hay 7828 1:100,000 scale map sheet. Areas of native vegetation are defined as polygons and each polygon is described according to ten attributes, which are listed below. Landcover (LCOV) Total Vegetation Cover Percentage (TVC) Total Woody Vegetation Cover Percentage (TWVC) Tallest Stratum Cover Percentage (TSC) Tallest Stratum Growth Form (TSGF) Emergents (EMERG) Tallest Stratum (TALSTRAT) Mid Stratum (MIDSTRAT) Third Stratum (RDSTRAT) Final Vegetation Code (VC) The dataset is based on the interpretation of 1:50 000 scale colour aerial photography and supplemented by geo-rectified Landsat TM false colour satellite imagery. A complementary botanical survey was undertaken in order to improve the accuracy of the dataset, determine if any corrections were necessary and assist in defining a final native vegetation community for each polygon. Although the principle use of the dataset was to aid in the generation of a native vegetation community map, the dataset can also potentially be used to produce other types of maps due to the availability of ten discrete polygon attributes. The dataset is part of a series of Native Vegetation (Multi Attribute) and Native Vegetation (Single Attribute) datasets captured as a set of 1:100,000 map sheet tiles by the Native Vegetation Mapping Program (NVMP). NVMP vegetation mapping Dry Lake, Gunbar, Hay, Moggumbil, One Tree, Oxley mapsheets VIS ID 2216
공공데이터포털
Native vegetation mapping undertaken as part of the Native Vegetation Mapping Program (NVMP), covering the Dry Lake, Gunbar, Hay, Moggumbil, One Tree and Oxley 1: 100 000 map sheets. Native vegetation, including forest, woodland and grass/forbland assemblages, is described and mapped. Spatial delineation of map units is accomplished using stereoscopic air photo interpretation assisted by satellite imagery. Floristic composition of map units is based on analysed, plot-based floristic data collected at 748 plots (20 by 20 metres) using a random stratified sampling procedure. VIS_ID 2216

Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve
공공데이터포털
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. The mapping component was initiated by photo interpretation and digitization of 4-band 2005 IKONOS imagery for the vegetation and land use classes determined through the field visit and expert knowledge of project team members. The heads-up digitization was performed at a display scale of 1:1500 to 1:2000. The digitization, evaluation, and modifications comprised an iterative and collaborative process involving the GIS analysts and the rest of the team. Preliminary maps were checked, corrected, and rechecked for boundary delineations. These image sources included 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 (3-band, Red, Green, Blue), and 2008 (4-band, Red, Green, Blue, Near Infrared) USDA FSA NAIP, 2002 and 1991 USGS DOQQs, and 1938 panchromatic imagery. Two additional 4-band (Red, Green, Blue, Near Infrared) IKONOS scenes were acquired in June and September of 2008 specifically for this project. These IKONOS image acquisitions targeted specific phenological windows that were generally not covered by other imagery.
Priority 5 Mapping Area (P5MA) Vegetation Extent. VIS ID 4172
공공데이터포털
This dataset provides detailed regional vegetation mapping. It maps across 15 adjoining 1:100 000 sheets for the following: extant native vegetation, extant native vegetation by type, and predicted pre-European extent of vegetation types. The P5MA Vegetation Mapping Project is part of the Native Vegetation Mapping Program (NVMP) and is funded to provide maps within priority areas in NSW. This is a joint program of Department of Environment and Conservation (NPWS) and the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources. VIS_ID 4172
Vegetation
공공데이터포털
This dataset is a polygon representation of vegetation communities within the coastal strip of the Northern and Southern National Resource Management (NRM) Regions of Tasmania. Each polygon represents a single vegetation community; mapping units conform to TASVEG 1.0 mapping unit specifications and data format. Vegetation communities were identified to a 1ha resolution or to 0.25ha where a threatened vegetation community was suspected. This dataset is part of the NRM Coastal Values Project. The Project maps vegetation, fauna habitat and geomorphology from High Water mark to 100 metres inland for part of the coastline of the Southern and Northern NRM Regions of Tasmania. The purpose of the coastal values mapping is to provide an easily accessible database on vegetation and geomorphology to support better strategic planning, land use planning and management on the coast.

Geospatial data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve
공공데이터포털
The files linked to this reference are the geospatial data created as part of the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Current format is ArcGIS file geodatabase but older formats may exist as shapefiles. Polygons were assigned map class number and name. The vegetation community polygons and other related and supporting data were then incorporated into a geodatabase format. The data recorded on the field forms were subsequently entered into the PLOTS database and reviewed for data entry errors by Kansas Natural Heritage Inventory staff. The results were imported from the database into a GIS layer where they were visually compared in two stages to the vegetation map coverage.
