Avondale State Conservation Area Vegetation 2014 VIS ID 4706
공공데이터포털
Avondale State Conservation Area vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2014 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Avondale State Conservation Area is located approximately 36 km north east of Armidale and is accessed via the Rockvale Road. The reserve occurs on eastern side of the central New England Tablelands. The vegetation of Avondale State Conservation Area is described and mapped (scale1:10 000) based on ADS40 Imagery (2012). Six floristic communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association) and seven Plant Community Types (VIS) are mapped. These six floristic communities and seven PCTs were mapped based on ground truthing, ADS40 interpretation and landform. Two Threatened Ecological Communities (TECs) were recognised and mapped also. Timbarra National Park Vegetation 2011 VIS ID 4756
공공데이터포털
Timbarra National Park vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2011 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Timbarra National Park is located 28km east of Tenterfield, adjacent to Demon Nature Reserve. The vegetation of the Timbarra National Park is described and mapped (scale 1:25 000). Eight communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association). These eight communities were mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform. Aims included the collation of existing information from previous floristic surveys and that the survey of 40, 20 x 20 m stratified full vascular plant floristic sites is carried out in order to complete a comprehensive investigation of the vegetation and flora of Timbarra National Park. This report represents the findings of this study. The collated information is to be used as a guide for management purposes. VIS_ID 4756
Pilliga West State Conservation Area and National Park. VIS ID 4012
공공데이터포털
Six vegetation communities were mapped following field survey and full floristic sampling. Colour aerial photographs at 1:50 000 scale formed the basis of the vegetation map polygons. The images were interpreted stereoscopically for patterns of vegetation and geomorphology, and matched to the vegetation site data. A provisional vegetation map was drafted on acetate overlays and the linework and boundaries checked during ground-truthing. The study area was traversed and particular sites investigated to confirm polygon labels and resolve vegetation boundaries. The final vegetation polygons were then transferred and corrected to the 1:50 000 topographic map sheet and coded. Linework was transferred to hardcopy topographic mapsheets and digitised using a digitising tablet and ArcView 3.3. A code denoting the vegetation community was then attributed to each polygon based on the hardcopy linework. Dataset was reprojected by DECCW from AGD66 Zone 55 to GDA94 using ArcMAP 9.3. VIS_ID 4012
Arakoola Nature Reserve Vegetation 1999 VIS ID 4705
공공데이터포털
Arakoola Nature Reserve vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 1999 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Arakoola Nature Reserve lies 2 km south from Coolatai and 100 km north west of Inverell. The reserve is on the northern end of the Mastermans Range. Biologically the reserve is within the North Western Slopes botanical region and half within the Brigalow Belt South Bioregion and half within the Nandewar Bioregion. The vegetation of Arakoola Nature Reserve is described and mapped (scale 1:50 000). Seven communities are defined based on PATN analysis. Seven communities are mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform. Most communities are of a Woodland structure, however Grasslands, Herbfields exist along with Shrublands. The distribution of communities is related to past disturbances, drainage, soil type, altitude, and protection from the north. Many of the communities show considerable variation and intergrade along common boundaries and in particular on intermediate soil types. A number of communities are at their distributional limits, highly restricted or under represented in the current reserve network. VIS_ID 4705
Vegetation Survey of Weetalibah Nature Reserve VIS ID 1014
공공데이터포털
Vegetation map digitised from Porteners, M.F. (1998). The composition and extent of the present vegetation in Weetalibah Nature Reserve is described and mapped at 1:50 000 scale from quadrat samples, field traverses and aerial photograph interpretation. Three vegetation communities are described and 125 species (127 taxa) of vascular plants recorded from 38 families, several of which are at their north-western geographical limit or regionally restricted. One species is listed under Schedule 2 of the 1995 NSW Threatened Species Conservation Act." VIS_ID 1014

공공데이터포털
Dthinnia Dthinnawan Nature Reserve vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2006 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. In 2008 the mapping was updated to include what is now Dthinnia Dthinnawan CCA Zone 1 National Park. The vegetation of Dthinnia Dthinnawan is described and mapped (scale 1:50 000). Cataract National Park & State Conservation Area 2006 VIS ID 4722
공공데이터포털
Cataract National Park and State Conservation Area vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2006 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Cataract NP and SCA are located approximately 20km north of Drake near Tenterfield and comprise around 4,000 ha of lands. The north eastern boundary of the study area is bordered by the Clarence River. The lands are mainly mountainous with many incised creeks and escarpment areas. The lands lie in the North Coast Botanical District. The vegetation of Cataract National Park and State Conservation Area is described and mapped (scale 1:25 000). Seven communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association). These seven communities were mapped based on ground truthing, air photo interpretation and landform. Much of the reserve is dominated by grassy forests and woodlands usually with Allocasuarina torulosa (Forest Oak), Eucalytpus biturbinata (Grey Gum) and Eucalytpus crebra (Ironbark) with an understorey of Cymbopogon refractus (Barbed-wire Grass), Imperata cylindrical (Blady Grass) and Poa sieberiana (Tussock Grass). Much of the reserve has been disturbed in the past, particularly by clearing, logging and grazing. No listed threatened communities or flora species were noted. A total of 437 vascular plant taxa were found from 108 families and 285 genera. VIS_ID 4722
