opendata@brisbane.qld.gov.au - Planned Burns — 2015
This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats. Approximate geographic extent of proposed planned burns in the Brisbane City Council area that have permits granted. Planned burning on Brisbane City Council land is used to maintain the health of forests and lessen the impact of wild fires. Council aims to reduce the amount of fire fuel, such as dead wood, by 75% over the 60 to 80% of the land being burned. Some areas of the forest are left untouched, which can be used by wildlife as a refuge and help re-establish vegetation in the burnt sections. Further information about planned burns is available on the Brisbane City Council website. This data package includes selected inputs and information used by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in conjunction with the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service (QFES) to prepare State-wide Bushfire Hazard Area (Bushfire Prone Area) mapping (July 2014). This information can also be used to support localised or site level assessments of the Bushfire Hazard Area (Bushfire Prone Area). It contains:1. Landscape Slope (vers 2.0, July 2014) - GeoTIFF2. Fire Weather Severity (Forest Fire Danger Index) (vers 1.0, September 2013) - GeoTIFF3. CSIRO report: Leonard, J., Newnham, G., Opie, K., and Blanchi, R. Department for Environment and Water - Burn Year
공공데이터포털
This dataset provides fire frequency mapping for many major bush fires that have burnt within South Australia. It also provides fire frequency mapping for prescribed burning activities that have occurred on land managed by the State Government Agencies (Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, Forestry SA and SA Water).

Office of Bushfire Risk Management - Bush Fire Prone Area Planning (OBRM-023)
공공데이터포털
The Bush Fire Prone Area Planning 2024 dataset (OBRM-023) identifies bush fire prone areas of Western Australia as designated by the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Commissioner on 24 September 2024, with Planning Area 1 and Planning Area 2 attributed. This dataset is equivalent to OBRM-021, the only difference being this dataset has an additional field named 'PlanningArea'. Bush fire prone areas are subject to, or likely to be subject to, bush fire attack. A bush fire prone area is identified by the presence of and proximity to bush fire prone vegetation and includes both the area containing the bush fire prone vegetation and a 100 metre buffer zone immediately surrounding it. More information is available from Office of Bushfire Risk Management (OBRM). Contact: Office of Bushfire Risk Management, obrm@dfes.wa.gov.au
Spatial Data - [RETIRED] State Planning Policy 3.7 Planning in bushfire prone areas - Townsite 50km buffer (DPLH-065)
공공데이터포털
State Planning Policy 3.7 Planning in Bushfire Prone Areas (SPP 3.7) directs how land use should address bushfire risk management in Western Australia. It applies to all land which has been designated as bushfire prone by the Fire and Emergency Services (FES) Commissioner as highlighted on the Map of Bush Fire Prone Areas. This boundary dataset is to determine which type of BAL assessment is applicable; self-assessed or by an accredited person. Allowances have been made for new single houses or ancillary dwellings (e.g. granny flats) proposed in a remote location. In remote areas where a proposed new single house or ancillary dwelling will be located outside a 50 km radius of a gazetted townsite, a property owner may be able to complete their own BAL assessment. If your proposed development is located in the Perth, Peel, Great Southern or South West regions, this ‘special provision’ will not apply.
National Bushfire Extents - Near Real-Time
공공데이터포털
This spatial product shows ‘near real-time’ bushfire and prescribed burn extents for all jurisdictions who have the technical ability or appropriate licence conditions to provide this information into a national product. This dataset can be accessed via the Digital Atlas of Australia: https://digital.atlas.gov.au/maps/digitalatlas::near-real-time-bushfire-boundaries This is a scientific product and should not be used for safety of life decisions. Please refer to jurisdictional emergency response agencies for incident warnings and information. This product is funded until 30 June 2026.

Community Wildfire Protection Plan The City of Austin’s Wildfire Database and Risk Models were developed to support wildfire planning and mitigation efforts in the City of Austin. The areas in Austin most likely to be impacted by wildfire are referred to as the Wildland Urban Interface. This data helps identify the potential impacts of wildfire to a diverse set of values ranging from the built environment and Critical Infrastructure to habitat and green infrastructure. A full description of the Risk model can be access through this link. http://www.austintexas.gov/sites/default/files/files/hsem/Section_4_-_Risk_Assessment.pdf The Data was collected and analyzed by Joseph White Fire Behavior Researcher with Baylor University. It was derived from numerous sources as listed in the CWPP Risk Assessment Guide http://www.austintexas.gov/sites/default/files/files/hsem/Section_9_-_References.pdf The data was created during the CWPP development process starting in April of 2013 and was refined up to the adoption of the CWPP and data in November of 2014. The goal is to update the data every 5 years or as more updated data becomes available.
Dept of Environment, Water and Natural Resources - Last Bushfire and Prescribed Burn Boundaries
공공데이터포털
The dataset provides most recent fire scar mapping for many major fires that have burnt in a given area within or adjacent to National Parks and Wildlife South Australia (NPWSA) reserves. This data set is derived from Fire History mapping. The most recent fire mapping can be used for operational management and planning of fire events and ecological resource management.
Dept of Environment, Water and Natural Resources - Bushfires and Prescribed Burns History
공공데이터포털
This dataset provides state-wide fire scar mapping for major bushfires that have occurred within South Australia. It also provides fire scar mapping for prescribed burning activities that have occurred on land managed by the State Government Agencies (Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources, Forestry SA and SA Water). A landscape approach is used for fire history mapping but may be incomplete for a given reserve and region. “Burnoffs” on private land are excluded from this dataset.
BushFire.Mapping@psba.qld.gov.au - Bushfire hazard area - Bushfire prone area - reliability assessment - South East Queensland
공공데이터포털
This data pack contains reliability assessment tools and guidance to assist local governments to assess the suitability of State-wide Bushfire Hazard (Bushfire Prone Area) mapping when making or amending a local planning scheme to identify state interests with regard to bushfire hazard. The reliability assessment will assist in identifying mapping issues that can be addressed by amendment of the State-wide Bushfire Prone Area mapping by the Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES), or when undertaking localised mapping. The State-wide mapping of the Bushfire Hazard Area (Bushfire Prone Area) was developed by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in conjunction with the Queensland Fire Department.
