Priority Weeds (PWS)
The location of significant weed occurrences identified for priority management or monitoring as depicted in the PWS Asset Management System (AMS) and considered an environmental threat. The majority of weeds also have a status of "declared" under the Tasmanian Weed Management Act 1999. Weed locations are on reserved and crown land. Weeds have also been captured on some private properties that are adjacent to the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area (TWWHA) and were party to the TWWHA Neighborhood Program (2016). These weeds are considered a potential environmental threat to the TWWHA if they spread. The on-going treatment or monitoring of weeds is recorded using a grid transect over affected areas. This treatment information is stored in another layer, Weed Control (PWS). Western Australian Local Government Association - Natural Area Prioritisation for Perth and Peel
공공데이터포털
This dataset categorises the 2020 native vegetation extent mapping by the number of agreed ecological criteria. The set of criteria were developed through the Regional Framework for Local Biodiversity Conservation Priorities for Perth and Peel project, delivered via WALGA’s Perth Biodiversity Project in 2012. The prioritisation criteria builds on State Government endorsed local biodiversity conservation planning methodology adopted by Local Governments preparing Local Biodiversity Strategies in Perth and its surrounds.
