These datasets are Land Resource Area mapping available in Queensland. A Land Resource Area is a group of related soils developed on a common geology and in most cases has a similar vegetation community. Refer to individual records for more information.

This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats. Regional Ecosystems (Pre-Clearing) in the Brisbane City Council area. Regional ecosystems (RE's) are vegetation communities in a bioregion that are consistently associated with a particular combination of geology, landform and soil (Sattler and Williams 1999, Vegetation Management Act 1999). Pre-clearing identifies the original extent of vegetation communities before anthropogenic clearing occurred. The pre-clearing map classifies vegetation communities into regional ecosystems as per the regional ecosystems descriptions database (REDD), using the Methodology for Survey and Mapping of Regional Ecosystems and Vegetation Communities in Queensland. Version 3.2. This dataset was derived from the Queensland Herbarium dataset Regional Ecosystems 2015.

This topographic dataset displays the land extent of Queensland and comprises the state border (the cadastral boundary between states) of Queensland.

This dataset provides mapping of water bodies and wetland regional ecosystems at 1:100,000 scale across Queensland.

Queensland species distributions and densities generalised to a 10 km grid resolution based on the Queensland Government's WildNet database.

This dataset shows the region boundaries used for the Department of Primary Industries Agricultural Land Audit (2013). The region boundaries were based on the Local Government Area boundaries as at July 2012 and align to regional planning boundaries of the same date.

This Web Map Service displays select boundaries and associated information layers from the Queensland Native Title Information Management Environment application which is maintained by the Department of Resources and is accessible by Qld Government officers. The information contained in these particular layers are created by the application's users and assists with the native title assessment process. The Commonwealth Native Title Act 1993 and State native title policies and procedures are to be considered when using this Service.
