Victoria's waste projection model
공공데이터포털
Victoria’s waste projection model estimates waste generation in Victoria to 2050. Victoria’s waste projection model combines data from a range of sources to produce waste generation and its fate within Victoria from 2015/16 to 2019/20. The data sources used to compile the actuals dataset includes: Victorian Recycling Industry Annual Survey Australian Bureau of Statistics export data National Plastics Survey data Environment Protection Authority Victoria Landfill Levy statement data Landfill composition audit data. The model combines the above datasets, takes the average of the most recent three years of actuals for each material type and applies material type specific projection factors (low, mid and high) to produce a baseline projection to the year 2050. Victorian Recycled Water Availability
공공데이터포털
This map shows where recycled water is available across Victoria, including indicative volumes and treatment plant locations. Recycled water is classified into three classes based on treatment quality, which determines safe uses: Class A – Highest quality, suitable for non-drinking residential uses (toilet flushing, clothes washing, garden watering), irrigation of public spaces, and food crops eaten raw. Class B – For uses such as irrigating sports fields, grazing land, and industrial wash-down. Requires controls like subsurface irrigation or restricted access. Class C – For agricultural crops that are cooked or processed (e.g., wine grapes, olives) and livestock grazing with safeguards. The map supports planning for sustainable water use by connecting recycled water supply with potential demand and promoting waterway health. For detailed guidance, refer to the Victorian Guideline for Water Recycling (Publication 1910).
