Relative Forest Growth Stage Classification
This layer contains the relative forest growth stage classes. The classification is based on Eucalypt growth stages identified by Max Jacobs (Growth habits of the eucalypts, 1955) and described in terms of the relative contribution of irregular to regular to regrowth forms to the total crown cover. The data has been collected to SFRI standards for the old growth forest mapping program.

Modelled Forest Classes
공공데이터포털
This layer identifies categories of modelled forest categories determined through an analysis of readily available authoritative forest disturbance datasets on public land. The dataset identifies areas likely to contain old-growth forest, amongst other forest categories.
Modelled old-growth forest boundaries.
공공데이터포털
This layer contains identified areas of modelled old-growth forest derived from both vector and grid based analysis. Areas delineated as old growth forest are identified to meet the Victorian definition of old-growth forest based on a set of modelling criteria, rules and input datasets. The data is not reliable at scales less than 1:100,000 (ie 1:25,000), not all old-growth polygons have been confirmed by field checking and the reliability of the modelled linework has not been verified.
LBA-ECO CD-37 Secondary Forest Biomass and Age Class, Rondonia, Brazil
공공데이터포털
This data set provides tree age, forest formation, and land cover classification maps, and estimates of landscape-level above-ground live woody biomass (AGLB) for secondary forests in Rondonia, Brazil. The Threshold Age Mapping Algorithm (TAMA) was applied to a densely spaced time series of Landsat images (1975 to 2003) to derive forest type and age classification maps. The AGLB of the secondary forest was estimated by combining the forest classification map with coincident biomass estimates from the Geoscience Laser Altimeter System (GLAS). There are five raster images and three comma-delimited data files with this data set.
Forest Cover Changes in Victoria from 1972 to 1987
공공데이터포털
This layer identifies Forest Cover Changes in Victoria from 1972 to 1987. Forest Cover is defined as woody vegetation greater than 2 metres in height and with crown cover (foliar density) greater than 10%. The smallest unit of forest mapped was fifteen (15) hectares.
Forest Management Areas
공공데이터포털
This layer contains polygons delineating boundaries describing forest managment areas. FMA500 can be used for a statewide overview.
Structural Vegetation (1995)
공공데이터포털
Structural vegetation mapping of forest in Victoria based on the Land Conservation Council (LCC) vegetation classification scheme. The layer is independent of land tenure and is a combination of existing data from multiple sources (predominantly LCC) and primary mapping based on satellite image interpretation. Using histoirc 1:63,360 forest maps as a source.
Modelled old-growth forest boundaries post-2003 fire season (MGA zone 55 only)
공공데이터포털
This layer contains identified areas of modelled old-growth forest derived from both vector and grid based analysis using disturbance data that post dates the source old-growth analyses. Alpine Fire Severity Mapping (2003) and Logging history records that conflict with Old-Growth Forest (OG100) have been reclassified as not old-growth forest.
