This data contains stem diameter, height measurement and above ground living biomass calculations for an Australian tropical rainforest derived from a comprehensive ground survey of a large area from 2009 - present. Diameter and height measurements for stems ≥10cm diameter at breast height were sampled within 25 x 1 ha plots within the Robson Creek Rainforest site. Repeated measurements of individual trees have been conducted in the core hectare plot in 2010, 2015, 2019 and 2023.

Gentry transects were established to monitor the vegetation abundance, cover and structure of the mid-stratum and subordinate stratum of the core 1 ha plot in the Robson Creek Raibnforest site in 2012.

This is the base geographical data for the Robson creek 25 ha plot. The data sets contain the 100 m grid, 20 m grid, 100 m points, 20 m points, major tracks and creeks. Data format is both Google earth KML and ESRI shapefile.

This rainforest tree data package comprises stand structure data for rainforest trees at the Davies Creek Plot in Dinden National Park, (25 km south west of Cairns), Queensland for 2015. This plot consists of one 1.7 hectare plot in tropical rainforest, established in 1963. Rainforest tree attributes recorded comprise the size (height or girth) of tagged and mapped, free-standing stems of shrub and tree species. Sampling has been undertaken at intervals of 1-6 years since 1963; this data package contains seedling recruitment census data of the plot. This data package forms part of the collection of vegetation data undertaken at plots situated in both Lamington National Park and Davies Creek initiated by Professor Joseph H. Connell (University of California, Santa Barbara) in 1963. This data contains a once-off general structural description according to the National Vegetation Information System (NVIS) level 5 for the core 1 hectare plot in the Great Western Woodlands site in 2013. Dominant growth form, cover, height and species (up to 5 species in order of dominance) for up to 3 sub-stratum per traditional strata (Ground, Mid and Upper).

This data contains soil physico-chemical characteristics collected at the Robson Creek Rainforest site between 2011 - 2014.
