This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats. This dataset includes culverts within the Brisbane City Council area. Culverts are represented as lines that show the length and orientation of the culvert. Culverts are structures that manage the flow of stormwater runoff within a drainage system. Often they are used to provide a stormwater passage greater than 0.6m2 waterway area for water to pass beneath roads, paths and rail to manage flooding and erosion. Not all culverts in this dataset are owned by Brisbane City Council. Ownership is included in the data.

This information provides a graphical representation of the locations of the existing (as constructed) stormwater end structures in the Brisbane City Council local government area. It can be combined with other Stormwater data to provide the entire Stormwater Network. Not all assets within the network are owned, and maintained by Brisbane City Council. End Structures in a Stormwater network represent an end-point of a pipe. They are usually placed at a pipe inlet or outlet to prevent erosion and scour around the pipe, protect the embankment, and help anchor the pipe.

The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats. Rainfall and Stream Height gauges owned by Brisbane City Council. This is raw, unprocessed data. Council installs and maintains telemetry gauges at various locations across Brisbane as part of its hydrometric network. These gauges form part of the Bureau of Meteorology Flood Warning Network. This Brisbane City Council gauge information (raw data) is passed onto the Bureau of Meteorology which they display on their public website via various interfaces. The hydrometric gauges: collect real-time information on water levels and rainfall provide information to trigger flood alerts and warnings provide information to trigger flooded road signage/flashing lights provide historic flood information for use in hydrology and hydraulic modelling. Automatically collected telemetry data for rainfall and stream height gauges owned by Brisbane City Council. The dataset includes raw gauge readings in 5-minute increments covering a 24-hour rolling period. The data is updated every 10 minutes. This dataset combines Brisbane City Council property information with the Queensland Government Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) in Brisbane City Council area. Land Parcels are the building blocks of Council properties. Land parcels (also called lots) are mapped and the title details shown on a Plan of Subdivision. The parcel is a graphical representation of surveyed boundaries together with identifiers such as Lot/Plan description and house numbers. The Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) is the spatial representation of every current parcel of land in Queensland, and its legal Lot on Plan description and relevant attributes. It provides the map base for systems dealing with land related information. The DCDB is considered to be the point of truth for the graphical representation of property boundaries. It is not the point of truth for the legal property boundary or related attribute information, this will always be the plan of survey or the related titling information and administrative data sets. Warning. Downloading this entire dataset in shapefile format exceeds the current 2GB download limit set by ESRI. Information from ESRI has the following suggestions. Consider the following options: Output to a file geodatabase instead of a shapefile or Process the data in sections.
