Waterway and Coastal Protection Area Guidance Map
The Waterway and Coastal Protection Area Guidance Map has been prepared to provide guidance for local government in preparing the waterway and coastal protection area overlay for the application of the Natural Assets Code as part of the Local Provisions Schedules in the Tasmanian Planning Scheme. The Guidance Map identifies the relevant buffer distances for the waterway and coastal protection area overlay based on the class of watercourse and the type of wetland. The waterway and coastal protection area overlay in Local Provisions Schedules should be derived from the Guidance Map in accordance with Guideline No. 1 – Local Provisions Schedule (LPS): zone and code application: http://www.planning.tas.gov.au/news/news_items/guidance_for_drafting_lps

Future Coastal Refugia Area Guidance Map
공공데이터포털
The Future Coastal Refugia Area Guidance Map has been prepared to provide guidance for local government in preparing the future coastal refugia area overlay for the application of the Natural Assets Code as part of the Local Provisions Schedules in the Tasmanian Planning Scheme. The Guidance Map provides guidance for mapping the future coastal refugia area overlay by identifying potential future coastal saltmarsh and tidal wetland areas based on the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPAC) predicted sea level rise and 1% AEP storm surge height mapping for 2100, including areas with and without LiDAR coverage. The Guidance Map categorises the land in accordance with the current interim planning schemes and Flinders Planning Scheme 2000 zones for the purposes of mapping the future coastal refugia area overlay. The future coastal refugia area overlay in Local Provisions Schedules should be derived from the Guidance Map in accordance with Guideline No. 1 â Local Provisions Schedule (LPS): zone and code application: https://www.planning.tas.gov.au/assessment-resources/section-8a-guidelines
Catchment Management Authority boundaries
공공데이터포털
This layer represents the Catchment Management Authority (CMA) boundaries (derived from CALP100). It is indicative and should not be used for operational decisions about funding. The CMAs were established on 1 July 1997 under the Catchment and Land Protection Act 1994 (CaLP Act) to create a whole catchment approach to natural resource management in Victoria. The CMAs combined the roles of the former, River Management Boards and CaLP Boards, and community-based advisory groups such as salinity plan implementation groups and water quality working groups. The 2014 correction was on the West Gippsland and East Gippsland CMAs border around the Gippsland Lakes. The 2021 amendment was a realignment between the Melbourne Water boundary and surrounding CaLP regions. These boundaries now align with the waterway management district boundaries for Melbourne Water and surrounding CaLP regions. This followed an amalgamation of the Port Phillip and Westernport CMA with Melbourne Water as a new authority administering the Port Phillip and Westernport CaLP region in December 2021. It is accurate to +/- 100 metres for 80% of the time.
Geospatial and Data Services Manager - Waterways Conservation Act Management Areas (DWER-072)
공공데이터포털
This dataset identifies the Management Areas declared under the Waterways Conservation Act 1976. Under the Waterways Conservation Act 1976, the Minister for Water and the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation have responsibility for the conservation of the waters and associated land in five declared Management Areas. The declared Management Areas are Albany waterways, Avon River, Wilson Inlet, Peel Inlet and Leschenault Inlet. The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation has an approval process for certain works affecting waterways and foreshore areas and can provide advice on other developments affecting, or likely to affect, the condition and public amenity of these waterways. Key aspects of the Act relate to protecting and managing the condition and amenity of waterways when there are disturbance activities within or adjacent to the Management Areas. Activities within or adjacent to the Management Area that should be referred to the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation for discussion or licensing include: changes or intensification of land use adjacent to or impacting on waterways or their foreshore areas (e.g. land planning, development, mining, mineral exploration, drainage or flood risk management proposals) dredging, reclamation, dewatering, drainage and construction activities including retaining walls, jetties, private boat ramps or public facilities other activities that may affect declared management areas, for example, those that may increase nutrients. Further information and advice can be sought from Department of Water and Environmental Regulation's regional offices. Contact information for regional offices is available at the Department of Water website.
