The long-term vision is clearer, but there is a need to put more emphasis on security issues and budgetary pressures in the short and medium terms. The Passport Canada Business Plan presents the activities that will supportthe strategic orientation and outlines the major challenges expected overthe planning period. It is expected that the Business Plan will evolve over time asstrategic decisions are made by the Government that will significantly impact the operating environment.
