Enterprise Transparency Policy - RCMP
The RCMPs Enterprise Transparency Policy, a first of its kind for the agency, is a policy instrument that supports the Governments Canada's commitment to the principles of transparency, accountability and citizen engagement. The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the RCMP makes data and information open by default whilst maintaining privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements.

The Public Participation Framework provides the RCMP with an Enterprise approach to fostering open dialogue by conducting participation activities with employees, members, Indigenous Peoples, stakeholders, partners, and Canadian communities. A Public Participation Guidebook has been developed in unison with the Public Participation Framework to provide a condensed outline for leading participation activities.
