Ecodivisions - Ecoregion Ecosystem Classification of British Columbia
Ecodivisions are areas of broad climatic and physiographic uniformity, defined at the continental level.

Ecodomains - Ecoregion Ecosystem Classification of British Columbia
공공데이터포털
Ecodomains are areas broad climatic uniformity, defined at the global level
Ecoprovinces - Ecoregion Ecosystem Classification of British Columbia
공공데이터포털
An ecoprovince is an area with consistent climatic or oceanography, relief and regional landforms. There one oceanic, two marine / terrestrial and seven terrestrial ecoprovinces occurring within British Columbia. Ecoprovinces are meant to be mapped at 1:2,000,000 for use in provincial state of the environment reporting
Ecosections - Ecoregion Ecosystem Classification of British Columbia
공공데이터포털
Ecosections are areas with minor physiographic and macroclimatic or oceanographic variations. There are 114 ecosections in British Columbia varying from pure marine units to pure terrestrial units. Ecosections are meant to be mapped at small scales (1:250,000) for resource emphasis and area planning
Ecoregions - Ecoregion Ecosystem Classification of British Columbia
공공데이터포털
An ecoregion is an area with major physiographic and minor macroclimatic or oceanographic variation. There are 43 ecoregion in British Columbia of which 39 are terrestrial. Ecodivsions are meant to be mapped at 1:500,000 for regional strategic planning
Forest Inventory Zones
공공데이터포털
The Forest Inventory Zone(s) (FIZ) were developed to provide a broadly based ecological classification of the forest land in British Columbia. FIZ closely follow the early biogeoclimatic zones developed by Dr. Krajina. The province of British Columbia is split into 12 FIZ zones.
Terrestrial Ecoprovinces of Canada
공공데이터포털
The “Terrestrial Ecoprovinces of Canada” dataset provides representations of ecoprovinces. An ecoprovince is a subdivision of an ecozone and is characterized by major assemblages of structural or surface forms, faunal realms, and vegetation, hydrology, soil, and macro climate. For example, the Newfoundland ecoprovince (no. 6.4) is one of six ecoprovinces within the Boreal Shield Ecozone
Terrestrial Ecoregions of Canada
공공데이터포털
The “Terrestrial Ecoregions of Canada” dataset provides representations of ecoregions. An ecoregion is a subdivision of an ecoprovince and is characterized by distinctive regional ecological factors, including climate, physiography, vegetation, soil, water, and fauna. For example, the Maritime Barrens ecoregion (no. 114) is one of nine ecoregions within the Newfoundland ecoprovince.
Species Distribution Modeling and Wildlife Habitat Ratings Project Boundaries
공공데이터포털
Species Distribution Modeling (SDM) and Wildlife Habitat Ratings (WHR) project boundaries contains (study areas) and attributes describing each project (project level metadata), plus links to the locations of other data associated with the project (e.g. reports, WHR polygon datasets, plotfiles). SDM predicts the suitability of different environments for occupation by particular species, and the likelihood that those suitable habitats are occupied. WHR are also known as wildlife habitat interpretations and most commonly use TEM data as a means to identify specific habitats. This layer is derived from the STE_TEI_PROJECT_BOUNDARIES_SP layer by filtering on the PROJECT_TYPE attribute. Project types include: WHR, SDM, PEMWHR, PEMSDM, TEMWHR, TEMSDM, TEMPRW, NEMPRW, TEMSEW, BEIWHR, BEISDM, SEIWHR, SDM, and SOILSW. Terrestrial Ecosystem Information Project Boundaries
공공데이터포털
Terrestrial Ecosystem Information Project Boundaries contains boundaries (study areas) and attributes describing each project (project level metadata), plus links to the locations of other data associated with the project (e.g., reports, polygon datasets, plotfiles, legends). TEI inventories describe the physical and biological attributes of ecosystems. TEI currently includes Terrestrial Ecosystem Mapping (TEM), Predictive Ecosystem Mapping (PEM), Sensitive Ecosystems Inventory (SEI), Terrain Mapping (TER), Soil Mapping (SOIL), Species Distribution Mapping (SDM) and Wildlife Habitat Ratings (WHR) projects.
