,National Science Centre (NCN) is a government agency, supervised by the Ministry of Education and Science, to support basic research defined as empirical or theoretical endeavours undertaken to gain new knowledge of the foundations of phenomena and observable facts, without any direct commercial use.,NCN carries out its tasks through regularly announced calls for proposals open to all researchers irrespective of age and experience. The calls portfolio includes domestic calls, as well as international calls launched by the NCN in bi- and multilateral cooperation.,,We present the ranking lists of research projects, research activities, doctoral scholarships and postdoctoral internships recommended for funding announced by National Science Centre in the period of 2011-2022. The results of the calls are broken down into three groups of science (HS – Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; ST - Physical Sciences and Engineering; NZ - Life Sciences) and panels covering all research areas (HS1-HS6, NZ1-NZ9, ST1-ST10).,

CNSC’s mandate, in part, is to disseminate objective scientific, technical and regulatory information to the public. While information on the CNSC’s research and research-related projects is publicly available online, the research documents contain technical and scientific language. The Science of Safety: CNSC Research Report 2018–2023 (Science of Safety Report) aims to summarize the research supported throughout the last five years and present it to the public to make the results more accessible to a general audience.
