This web feature service contains location and facility identification information from EPA's Facility Registry Service (FRS) for the subset of facilities that link to dischargers of air pollutants from the Integrated Compliance Information System for Air (AIR). ICIS-Air (AIR) – AIR is the modernization of the Air Facility System (AFS) into the Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS). AIR contains enforcement, compliance, and permit data for stationary sources of air pollution regulated by the EPA, State, and Local air pollution agencies. A facility is classified as a Major Discharger if: a) Actual or potential emissions are above the applicable major source thresholds, or b) Actual or potential controlled emissions > 100 tons/year as per Alabama power decision, or c) Unregulated pollutant actual or potential controlled emissions > 100 tons/year as per Alabama power decision. FRS identifies and geospatially locates facilities, sites or places subject to environmental regulations or of environmental interest. Using vigorous verification and data management procedures, FRS integrates facility data from EPA's national program systems, other federal agencies, and State and tribal master facility records and provides EPA with a centrally managed, single source of comprehensive and authoritative information on facilities. This data set contains the subset of FRS integrated facilities that link to ICIS-Air (AIR) major facilities once the ICIS-Air (AIR) data has been integrated into the FRS database. Runway Ends Table

The Runway Ends Table dataset is updated every 28 days from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Runways database contains runways in the United States and US territories with information on the physical characteristics of the runways. Not all runways in this dataset have geospatial locations associated with them, as this is not a required data element from the airport source. As a result, this database contains a polyline layer, a points layer and a table. The polyline layer contains runways that had corresponding runways ends. The points layer contains mostly heliports, but also non-linear landing areas. The table contains runways where geospatial information was not reported. The runways in the database are associated with the airports dataset on NTAD, showing runways for all official and operational aerodromes. This geospatial data is derived from the FAA's National Airspace System Resource Aeronautical Data.
