OEHHA is announcing the availability of draft CalEnviroScreen 5.0 for public comment. CalEnviroScreen is a mapping tool used to identify California communities disproportionately burdened by multiple sources of pollution. The 5.0 draft update reflects the newest census tract geography, updates all existing indicators, and adds two new indicators. This tool enables users to select areas of interest based on various geographies, CalEnviroScreen scores, percentile ranges or thresholds for any combination of the 21 CalEnviroScreen indicators. It can also select areas by ethnic or racial makeup. Users can view data summaries and maps that update automatically as different filters are selected and applied. All the results are downloadable as a spreadsheet.,
