This dataset includes the following variables: client county; number, percentage, average, and age of clients served, number and percentage of adolescent client served, number and percentage of male clients served , and clients served by race and ethnicity (Latino, White, African American, Asian and Pacific Islander, Other (including Native American); and clients served by primary language (Spanish, English, Other).

This data file contains information on the number of clients served by sex, age and FY accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current FY of available data.

This data file contains information on the number of clients served by service type combination accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current FY of available data. Clinician services are provided only by clinicians and include counseling, procedures, and clinical exams. Drug and supply services are provided by clinicians on-site or by pharmacies. These services include contraceptive methods as well as medications used to treat Sexually Transmitted Infections and other conditions related to reproductive health. Laboratory services include testing related to reproductive health are provided through independent laboratories or by clinicians on-site.

This data file contains information on the number of clients served with a contraception method or service accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current FY of available data. Women who received any service related to a method, including receipt, maintenance, and monitoring were included in the count of clients. The methods and services reimbursed by Family PACT include: oral contraceptives, patch, ring, contraceptive injections, contraceptive implants, IUC, barriers and natural family planning methods, female sterilization, and vasectomy.

This data file contains information on the percentage of adult and adolescent female clients receiving an IUC accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current FY of available data. Adult and adolescent female clients who received any service related to an IUC method, including insertion, maintenance, and monitoring were included in the count of clients.

This data file contains information on the number of providers delivering services through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current Fiscal Year (FY) of available data. Delivering Family PACT services is defined as having been reimbursed for at least one claim for any services through Family PACT. Providers for whom all Family PACT claims have been denied were not designated as delivering providers. All Family PACT providers must also be enrolled as Medi-Cal providers, and Medi-Cal clinician providers who are not enrolled in Family PACT may provide Family PACT services by referral from an enrolled Family PACT provider. For example, if a laboratory or pharmacy is associated with a clinician provider both the laboratory or pharmacy and the clinician are counted. Medi-Cal providers often deliver specialized services as Family PACT provider may not perform, such as sterilization.

This data file contains information on the number of female and male clients who received services related to sterilization accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current FY of available data. Sterilization services provided by Family PACT include female sterilization by tubal ligation, Essure, and male vasectomies.

This data file contains information on the female clients receiving family planning services accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current Fiscal Year (FY) of available data. Female clients receiving any Family PACT service and/or a method of contraception, including receipt, maintenance, and monitoring were included in the count of clients.

This data file contains information on the contraceptive tier methods for female clients by racial/ethnic group categories accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program from July 1, 2003, through the current Fiscal Year (FY) of available data. Contraceptive methods are grouped according to their effectiveness. Tier 1 methods (most effective): female sterilization, IUCs, and implant. Tier 2 methods (moderately effective): injection, OCs, patch, vaginal ring, and diaphragm. Tier 3 methods (least effective): EC, and barrier methods.

The following datasets are based on the children and youth (under age 21) beneficiary population and consist of aggregate Mental Health Service data derived from Medi-Cal claims, encounter, and eligibility systems. These datasets were developed in accordance with California Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) § 14707.5 (added as part of Assembly Bill 470 on 10/7/17).
