Physical and chemical oceanographic data collected aboard NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN during the Joint Air-Sea Monsoon Interaction Experiment (JASMINE) in the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and the Timor Sea from 1999-04-10 to 1999-06-06 (NCEI Accession 0001029)
JASMINE is the first comprehensive study of the coupled ocean-atmosphere system in the eastern Indian Ocean and the southern Bay of Bengal. Observations made during the field phase of JASMINE sampled both prolonged break and active phases of the monsoon resulting in an unprecedented amount of research quality data defining the atmospheric and oceanic state during intra-seasonal transitions of the monsoon. The design of the JASMINE pilot study was based on the observation that the intra-seasonal variability of the monsoon, as it sways back and forth from active to inactive (or break) phases, is an important component of the monsoon system and one that is poorly sampled and simulated.

Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on sea water scale and other hydrographic and chemical variables collected from discrete samples and profile observations during NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown cruise along the Global Ocean Ship-Based Hydrographic Investigation Program (GO-SHIP) Section I07N (EXPOCODE 33RO20180423) in the Indian Ocean on from 2018-04-23 to 2018-06-06 (NCEI Accession 0189249)
공공데이터포털
This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on sea water scale, dissolved organic carbon (DOC), chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12), temperature, salinity, oxygen, nutrients, and other variables measured during NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown cruise along the Global Ocean Ship-Based Hydrographic Investigation Program (GO-SHIP) Section I07N (EXPOCODE 33RO20180423) in the Indian Ocean on from 2018-04-23 to 2018-06-06. Hydrographic measurements were carried out along the I07N section in the western Indian Ocean in April-June 2018 under the auspices of GO-SHIP. The unique aspect of the 2018 I07N research cruise is that it was the first reoccupation of the I07N section since 1995. The section was not revisited for about 23 years because of the rise of piracy in the region.

This data package contains Underway total alkalinity, water temperature, salinity and other variables collected from surface seawater during the NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown cruise RB2104 (EXPOCODE 33RO20210315) in the Caribbean Sea, North Pacific Ocean, U.S. West Coast from 2021-03-17 to 2021-03-30. Data were collected from the ship's underway seawater supply during a transit from Key West FL to San Diego CA. This effort was part of the NOAA Ocean Acidification Program (OAP) grant entitled "Expanding near-shore carbonate measurements along the East-coast and Gulf of Mexico through multiple collaborations". Along with total alkalinity, corresponding temperature and salinity measurements are included. Measurements of pCO2 taken on these cruises are available from NOAA's AOML.

Water temperature, salinity, and oxygen data taken by CTD and water sampling from NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown, cruise RB-20-07, in the Northwestern Tropical Atlantic from 2020-12-04 to 2020-12-10 (NCEI Accession 0228396)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, and oxygen data taken by CTD and water sampling from NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown in the North Atlantic Ocean. Cruise RB-20-07 in 2020 had the objective to service a number of moored platforms for the MOVE project (Meridional Overturning Variability Experiment). To calibrate and validate the mooring data, CTD casts with salinity and oxygen water samples were collected; these data are reported here. The CTD sensor data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using the water sample data. The raw CTD data are available as separate files. Data are in NetCDF.
