The dataset of water temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen profiles was obtained during the Pacific Oceanographic Cruise LX / XXIII Joint Regional Oceanographic Research Cruise in the Southeast Pacific, conducted between September 13th and 25th, 2020, by the Pacific Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (CCCP) of the General Maritime Directorate (DIMAR), aboard the research vessel ARC Malpelo, covering 42 stations located throughout the basin Colombian Pacific, to continue with the Regional Study of the El Niño Phenomenon (ERFEN) program, evaluating the oceanographic and meteorological conditions of the basin Colombian Pacific, and to analyze physical, chemical, biological and meteorological conditions of this area, as a contribution to the understanding and monitoring of El Niño-Southern Oscillation.
