Data used to evaluate the effects of field-level management practices on edge-of-field phosphorus loading in Minnesota and Wisconsin, 2004-17
공공데이터포털
This dataset is a compilation of 125 site years of data collected between 2004-2017 from 26 agricultural fields (2-17 ha) in Minnesota and Wisconsin, representing 13 environmental and seven management factors. Each field was continually monitored for snowmelt and storm event surface runoff volume and phosphorus (P) concentrations. Event data were compiled to calculate both P loads and flow-weighted mean P concentrations during frozen and non-frozen conditions each year. This dataset consists of qualitative information (such as agricultural landuse types, crop rotation information, and soil classifications) and quantitative information (measurements of precipitation and runoff, calculation of P yield).
Watershed-scale agricultural phosphorus balances and river export trends for the conterminous United States, 1992-2012
공공데이터포털
This product consists of two tabular datasets and associated metadata for major phosphorus fluxes including manure and fertilizer inputs, crop uptake, as well as waste water treatment facility effluent and river export. These are time series data representing water years 1992 to 2012 for watersheds associated with the National Water Quality Program Surface Water Trends project. Dataset 1: Major fluxes and estimated net P balances. Dataset 2: Results of a t-test to determine if site level mean agricultural P balances were significantly above, not different, or below zero. Each site was then assigned to an Accumulation, Equilibrium, or Depletion status categories, respectively. Identification of sites where river loads are impacted by legacy P. Estimated changes river export between 1992 - 2012.

Concentrations and loads of phosphorus and suspended solids in the Fox River, Northeastern Wisconsin, 1989–2021
공공데이터포털
Concentrations and loads of total phosphorus, dissolved phosphorus, and suspended solids were estimated for three sites on the Lower Fox River for October 1988 through September 2021. The sites are the Fox River at Neenah-Menasha (040844105), Fox River at DePere (04085059), and Fox River at the Mouth (040851385). Data analysis was conducted with the Weighted Regressions on Time, Discharge, and Season (WRTDS) method. Daily loads were estimated using the WRTDS method with Kalman filtering. To determine changes in loads over this period, the annual load results were flow-normalized to standardize for the varying flow dynamics that occurred among years. The model archive contains the R code for running the WRTDS model, functions used by the R code, and the input data files. The output folder contains WRTDS model output summarized by 1) water year, 2) water year and season, and 3) water year, season, and three specified values of discharge. The models folder contains the WRTDS model objects. This dataset includes a separate file with all phosphorus, nitrogen, and suspended solids sample data for the three study sites from 1973 to 2022. This file includes a column indicating who collected the samples.
