SCPN Aquatic Macroinvertebrate Data Package for 2007-2024
공공데이터포털
Data in this package were collected from 2007-2024 as part of the Southern Colorado Plateau Network's long-term aquatic macroinvertebrate monitoring program. Data and subsequent analyses can be found in Cross References.
Mid-Atlantic Network Benthic Macroinvertebrate Monitoring Legacy Data 2009-2018
공공데이터포털
This data package contains a series of datasets collected for the Mid-Atlantic Network’s (MIDN) Benthic Macroinvertebrate Monitoring Program. These data were collected during the development of the monitoring program prior to the publication of the monitoring protocol (Dammeyer 2018; https://irma.nps.gov/DataStore/Reference/Profile/2256449). The monitoring program was established to serve 9 national parks in Pennsylvania and Virginia spanning the Piedmont and Coastal Plain of the Mid-Atlantic region. The program was established in partnership with Appalachian Aquatic Consultants and was implemented using methods described in a draft monitoring document (Voshell and Hiner, unpublished). These methods were used to collect data from 2009 through the spring of 2018. During that time, slight changes in methodology occurred (primarily in how macroinvertebrate samples were composited; see metadata file for further information). This data package is limited to those data that were collected using the methodology developed in partnership with Appalachian Aquatic Consultants. The network began the transition to state-based monitoring methods in 2016, published a state-based protocol in 2018, and fully transitioned to state-based methods in 2019. No data collected using state-based methods are included in this data package. The datasets provided in this package are intended to serve as an archive of the data that was collected using the initial methods and is relevant for analytical purposes. Additionally, these data, documentation of procedures, and associated supporting products have been archived locally.
Physical and Biological Monitoring Data Collected from Restored Wetland Units at Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, Saginaw, MI, USA (2022)
공공데이터포털
These data describe water chemistry and fish, macroinvertebrate and vegetation communities within recently restored, historically-restored, and unrestored wetland management units of the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge (SNWR; Michigan, USA). Data were collected in 2022 according to protocols and methods described in Curwin et al. 2023. These methods were developed through previous years of fieldwork at SNWR and are similar to those implemented in the Great Lakes Coastal Wetlands Monitoring Program (CWMP) (Conrad et a. 2022, Greenberg et al. 2021; Lugten et al. 2020; Uzarski et al. 2016). Water chemistry data include either field or lab-derived measurements including temperature, pH, turbidity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, ammonia, chloride, sulfate, nitrite, nitrate, silicon dioxide, soluble reactive phosphorus, total phosphorus, total Kjeldahl nitrogen, suspended solids, and fluoride. Biological community data include taxa identifications and abundance estimates for macroinvertebrates, fish, and vegetation. Taxa are identified to the species level when practicable, with data derived from flora surveys, electrofishing, fyke and gill net sets and macroinvertebrate dip net sampling. These data may serve as indicators of system quality or health, enabling users to conduct comparative analyses among different wetland areas and, in conjunction with cross referenced datasets, make comparisons across years.

Florida Panhandle: BENTHIC (Points, Polygons)
공공데이터포털
This data set contains sensitive biological resource data for submerged aquatic vegetation, hard-bottom communities, and pelagic Sargassum in the Florida Panhandle. Vector polygons in this data set represent benthic habitat distribution. Species specific abundance, seasonality, status, life history, and source information are stored in relational data tables (described below) designed to be used in conjunction with this spatial data layer. This data set comprises a portion of the ESI data for Florida. ESI data characterize the marine and coastal environments and wildlife by their sensitivity to spilled oil. The ESI data include information for three main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources. See also the BENTHICPT data layer, part of the larger Florida Panhandle ESI database, for additional benthic information.
Physical and Biological Monitoring Data Collected from Restored Wetland Units at Shiawassee National Refuge, Saginaw, MI, US (2020)
공공데이터포털
Data represent physical (water quality) and biological (fish, macroinvertebrate, and vegetation community) collections as indicators for Pool 1A and the Maankiki Marsh North and South units at the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge in Saginaw, MI, USA. The Maankiki North and South units were recently reconnected to the Shiawassee River in 2018, whereas Pool 1A represents a historically reconnected wetland. All data were collected in 2020.
