AFSC/REFM: FEAST (Forage Euphausiid in Space and Time NPRB B.70 Model output for 1970-2009 Hindcast (Run V146), Kerim Aydin and Andre Punt
Weekly biophysical and fish model output of FEAST. Part of The Bering Sea Project, FEAST is a high resolution (~10km2) spatial model that uses a Regional Ocean Modeling System for the Bering Sea (ROMS Bering-10K), with two way feedback to a Nutrient-Phytoplankton-Zooplankton Model and two way feedback to a multispecies bioenergetics fish model.

연관 데이터
Obsolete - AFSC/RACE/EcoFOCI - Trawl catch data collected in support of FOCI assessment surveys and ecosystem observations in the Bering Sea and the Gulf of Alaska 1993 to Present
공공데이터포털
The trawl database contains multiple tables of data. The ‘haul’ table contains the location, date, time and depth of the trawl haul. The ‘catch’ table contains the numbers and weights of the taxa in each haul. The ‘length’ table contains the lengths of selected taxa in each haul. There is data for the eastern Bering Sea for 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014. There is Gulf of Alaska trawl data from 1993 to 2015.
AFSC/RACE/GAP/Palsson: Gulf of Alaska and Aleutian Islands Biennial Bottom Trawl Survey estimates of catch per unit effort, biomass, population at length, and associated tables
공공데이터포털
The GOA/AI Bottom Trawl Estimate database contains abundance estimates for the Alaska Biennial Bottom Trawl Surveys conducted in the Gulf of Alaska and the Aleutian Islands in alternate years. The estimates build upon raw and summary data available from the RACEBASE database and include calculated catch-per-unit-effort (cpue)s for principal species of groundfish and key invertebrates for each survey region. The cpues are averaged by survey strata, and then average cpues are multiplied by stratum areas which results in estimates of biomass and numerical abundance. Length and age data are combined with abundance to estimate the population at length and sex and population at age and sex.

공공데이터포털
Data collected by the ATLAS Client and transmitted electronically or by fax to the AFSC are loaded into production transaction tables which are the source data for those interfaces used for fishery management, scientific inquiry and fishing activity monitoring by industry.
AFSC/ABL: Fish, Energy, Diet, and Zooplankton (FEDZ) Laboratory Database
공공데이터포털
The FEDZ lab processes fish from large boat surveys conducted by the Auke Bay Laboratories for diet information.
Video Log
공공데이터포털
The eastern Bering Sea has experienced rapid and intensive development of commercial trawl fisheries. Because of good record keeping and the relatively brief history of fishing it is possible to reconstruct the spatial and temporal patterns of exploitation. Previously unfished (UF) areas can be identified and directly compared with heavily fished (HF) areas to investigate long-term consequences for the benthos. Using this approach, macrofauna populations in a shallow (48 m average) soft-bottom area were studied during 1996. Catch data were extracted from the AFSC NORPAC database for years 1973-2001 to provide a summary of trawl catch effort, specific focus was placed on the area within Fisheries Management Area 512. The total number of hauls and tonnage for each data point are provided. Foreign, domestic, and Joint Venture fishing vessels are also described.

NRF FT-NIR Ageing, 2013-2019, Benson et al 2024
공공데이터포털
This data set was used to explore advanced technologies using Fourier transform near infrared (FT-NIR) spectroscopy coupled with machine learning to estimate fish age more rapidly and with greater efficiency than traditional approaches. The data set integrates two key data modalities that are related to fish ages: the entire range of wavenumbers of FT-NIR spectra and corresponding biological and geospatial data for a total of 2613 northern rockfish (Sebastes polyspinis) specimens.
Obsolete - AFSC/RACE/EcoFOCI - Otolith measurements and analyses performed in support of FOCI assessment surveys and ecosystem observations in the Bering, Beaufort, and Chukchi Seas and the Gulf of Alaska. 1995 - Present
공공데이터포털
Otolith data are collected to measure age and growth of larval pollock. They are used to determine whether growth rate, hatch data and/or temperature influence fish size.
AFSC/ABL: National Marine Fisheries Service - Alaska Sablefish Tag Database
공공데이터포털
This data set captures the tag release and recovery information for sablefish from the early 1970s until present. It also contains tag release and recovery data for several other species (shortspine thornyheads, Greeland turbot, Pacific sleeper sharks, spiny dogfish, and lingcod) which have been tagged by NMFS in AK since the late 1990s.
AFSC/NMML with NPRB: Whale broad-scale distribution in southeastern Bering Sea, 2008 and 2010
공공데이터포털
As part of the Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BSIERP) funded by the North Pacific Research Board (http://www.nprb.org/bering-sea-project), cetacean surveys were conducted to describe distribution and estimate abundance on the eastern Bering Sea shelf. Three marine mammal observers conducted visual surveys along transect lines sampled during the Alaska Fisheries Science Center walleye pollock assessment survey in June and July of 2008 and 2010. We collected sighting data for all cetaceans, and produced abundance estimates for the following species: humpback whale (Megaptera novaeangliae) and fin whale (Balaenoptera physalus), minke whale (B. acutorostrata), Dalls (Phocoenoides dalli) and harbor porpoise (Phocoena phocoena).
