Drifting buoy data from SVP Drifting Argos Buoys, deployed by the NOAA Coral Reef Ecosystems Division (CRED) near American Samoa, 2002-2006 (NCEI Accession 0067474)
This data collection includes data from multiple SVP drifters deployed in the region of American Samoa to assess ocean currents and sea surface temperature. Drifter data files contain drifter ids, year, month, day, hour, minute, second, GPS latitude and longitude. Drifter data was collected hourly. All dates and times are UTC. Contact Coral Reef Ecosystem Division (CRED), NOAA Pacific Island Fisheries Science Center for more information. These data were collected for coral reef ecosystem research. They are collected concurrently with ecological/biological reef assessments and monitoring data.

ARGOS drifting buoy data as part of the Coordinated Eastern Arctic Experiment (CEAREX) in the Arctic Ocean from 1988-09-16 to 1989-04-30 (NCEI Accession 9100070)
공공데이터포털
The ARGOS drifting buoy data in this accession was collected as part of Coordinated Eastern Arctic Experiment (CEAREX) from buoys deployed in Arctic ocean by Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, Seattle WA. The data was collected from September 16, 1988 to April 30, 1989. The water depth and other drifting buoy data submitted by Ms. Lynn Long has been processed by NODC and is currently available in F156 Drifting Buoy file format.
Drifting and moored buoy data observed since 1985 and assembled by the Global Data Assembly Center for Drifting Buoy Data, Canada
공공데이터포털
As a Data Buoy Cooperation Panel (DBCP) Global Data Assembly Center (GDAC), and previously the Responsible National Oceanographic Data Center (RNODC), for Drifting Buoy Data, Marine Environmental Data Section (MEDS) submits a set of drifting buoy data to the U.S. NCEI each year. Buoy data is available in real time to platform operators via telecommunications providers and distributed on the Global Telecommunications System (GTS) of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in real-time. MEDS decodes data transmitted on the GTS in buoy code form. This may include moored buoy data as well. The DBCP is an international program coordinating the use of autonomous data buoys to observe atmospheric and oceanographic conditions, over ocean areas where few other measurements are taken. MEDS is a part of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), Ecosystem and Oceans Science, Oceans Science Branch (OSB). MEDS was previously known as Integrated Science Data Management (ISDM), Oceanography and Scientific Data (OSD).
