Observations of carbon dioxide in the surface waters of the Eastern North Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea from 1968-07-21 to 1968-09-03 (NCEI Accession 7100114)
Measurements of the equilibrium concentration of carbon dioxide in the air and surface waters of the North Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea are presented. Calibration data for the infrared analyzer system, and observations of sea surface temperature, oxygen solubility, and salinity are given.

This dataset contains chemical and physical profile data containing measurements of depth, salinity and temperature collected between May 1986 and April 1989. Data were submitted on a diskette containing 12 files by Dr. Richard Feely of Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory, Seattle, WA. Files were received by NODC via Ocean Climate Laboratory. Refer to publication "Murphy, et al, NOAA Tech. Memo ERL PMEL-101" for more details.

This dataset includes Surface underway, chemical, meteorological and physical data collected from MIRAI in the Bering Sea, North Pacific Ocean and South Pacific Ocean from 2007-10-08 to 2007-12-26. These data include AIR TEMPERATURE, BAROMETRIC PRESSURE, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - atmosphere, Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, SALINITY, SEA SURFACE TEMPERATURE, WIND DIRECTION and WIND SPEED. The instruments used to collect these data include Carbon dioxide (CO2) gas analyzer and Shower head chamber equilibrator for autonomous carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement. These data were collected by Masao Fukasawa of Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC), Mikio Kitada, Yasuhiro Arii, and Yoshiko Ishikawa of Marine Works Japan Ltd. (MWJ), and Akihiko Murata of Meteorological Research Institute as part of the CLIVAR_P14_2007_Underway dataset. The data assembled include only those measured by equilibrator CO2 analyzer systems and have been quality-controlled based on the stability of the system performance, the reliability of calibrations for CO2 analysis, and the internal consistency of data.
