TROPESS AIRS-Aqua L2 Methane for Reanalysis Stream, Summary Product V1 (TRPSYL2CH4AIRSORS) at GES DISC
공공데이터포털
The TROPESS AIRS-Aqua L2 Methane for Reanalysis Stream, Summary Product contains the vertical distribution of the retrieved atmospheric state of methane (CH4), and formal uncertainties measured by the AIRS instrument on the EOS Auqa satellite. The reanalysis stream summary product is global for the time period from 2002-09-01 to 2020-03-31. The NASA TRopospheric Ozone and Precursors from Earth System Sounding (TROPESS) project, uses an optimal estimation algorithm, known as the MUlti-SpEctra, MUlti-SpEcies, Multi-SEnsors (MUSES).The data files are written in the netCDF version 4 file format, and each file contains one day of data. The data have a spatial resolution of 13.5 km (AIRS nadir FOV), and are reported at 26 vertical levels from the surface to 0.1 hPa. The principal investigator for the TROPESS project is Kevin W. Bowman.
TROPESS AIRS-Aqua L2 Methane for Forward Stream, Standard Product V1 (TRPSDL2CH4AIRSFS) at GES DISC

Total organic carbon and programmed temperature pyrolysis data for the Bakken Formation, Williston Basin, USA
공공데이터포털
One hundred ninety-six black shale samples of the Late Devonian-Early Mississippian Bakken Formation were selected from eight drill cores located in Montana and North Dakota, USA. Samples were powdered and total organic carbon and programmed temperature pyrolysis analysis were performed at the U.S. Geological Survey Petroleum Geochemistry Research Laboratory in Denver, CO following standard lab protocols. Total organic carbon contents are reported as wt. % whole rock. Programmed pyrolysis measurements are reported as: S1 (mg HC/g rock), S2 (mg HC/g rock), and S3 (mg CO2/g rock). These values were converted to wt. % C (relative to whole rock) as follows: mg HC/g rock * 0.082 = wt. % C, mg CO2/g rock * 0.025. The S4 carbon pool is calculated as: S4 = TOC – S1 – S2- S3. Tmax values are reported in °C.
