Barometric pressure, conductivity, salinity, and other data were collected from NOAA Ship TOWNSEND CROMWELL from February 24 to July 5, 2000. Data were submitted by the Office of NOAA Corps Operations using meteorological sensors and thermosalinograph in the Pacific Ocean.

These data include physical oceanographic (surface water temperature and salinity) and meteorological observations, which were collected from June 11 to November 20, 2001 aboard NOAA Ship TOWNSEND CROMWELL while it was underway in the North Pacific during cruises TC-01-07, TC-01-08, TC-01-09, and TC-01-11. Shipboard technicians submitted these data to NODC in support of the NOAA Shipboard Sensor Data Acquisition (NSSDAC) project.
