Thompson cruise on GO-SHIP repeat section A22 (EXPOCODE 325020210420) in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2021-04-20 to 2021-05-16. GO-SHIP repeat transoceanic surveys (www.goship.org) provide full water column hydrographic observations with temporal and spatial resolutions adequate to resolve decadal variability in oceanic storage of heat, freshwater, carbon, oxygen, nutrients and transient tracers. Repeat hydrographic physical-biogeochemical measurements nominally along 52° 20’N in the North Atlantic Ocean enables scientists to better tackle important unresolved aspects of the Atlantic Ocean’s response to decadal scale variability and increases in both heat and carbon dioxide as a result of anthropogenic activities. The A22 2021 cruise aboard the UNOLS vessel R/V Thomas G. Thompson was undertaken as part of the US GO-SHIP (Global Ocean Ship-based Hydrographic Investigations Program), a major contributor to international GO-SHIP. The program’s overall objective is to collect quasi-decadal, highly accurate, surface-to-bottom, coast-to-coast, physical, and chemical oceanic observations. These measurements are essential to monitoring long-term changes in heat, freshwater, carbon, oxygen, and other tracers in the global ocean, the main reservoir in the Earth System.

공공데이터포털
This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, temperature, salinity, oxygen and nutrients collected during the R/V Discovery cruise DY111 (EXPOCODE 74EQ20191202) in the South Pacific Ocean, Southern Ocean from 2019-12-02 to 2020-01-09. This cruise is a part of Carbon Uptake and Seasonal Traits in Antarctic Remineralisation Depth (CUSTARD) Project. The CUSTARD project examines how seasonal changes in nutrient availability for phytoplankton, at a key junction of the global ocean circulation, influence how long carbon is trapped in the ocean rather than escaping to the atmosphere as carbon dioxide.
Discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on total scale, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen concentration, nutrients and other chemical and hydrographic parameters obtained during the R/V Ramón Margalef RADPROF 2023 cruise (EXPOCODE 29RM20230704) in the North East Atlantic Ocean from 2023-07-03 to 2023-07-11 (NCEI Accession 0291177)
공공데이터포털
This dataset consists of discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on total scale, water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen concentration, nutrients and other chemical and hydrographic parameters obtained during the R/V Ramón Margalef RADPROF 2023 cruise (EXPOCODE 29RM20230704) in the North East Atlantic Ocean from 2023-07-03 to 2023-07-11. The RADPROF project is an annual routine monitoring activity associated with the Finisterre deep section, RADPROF, which contributes to the IEO oceanography observation system, IEOOS since 2003. RADPROF contributes to time series of hydrography, circulation, inorganic biogeochemistry and biology in the slope region of the Galicia-Cantabrian region, passing through the protected area of the Bank of Galicia since 2014. The time series began in 2003 with the VACLAN National Plan project, continued by COVACLAN (2005) and later integrated as a structural program of the IEO under the pseudonym RADPROF. The basic activity is reinforced and expanded thanks to competitive projects of the National Plan such as MODUPLAN (2014), or Interreg EU iFADO (2020), complementary sampling activities using gliders (FinisGlider). Currently RADPROF is basic in Chapter 6 of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, as it also would be for the Ocean Acidification and Prevailing Conditions chapter. From 2024 to 2026 it will contribute to the EuroGOSHIP project in support of the improvement of European hydrography. RADPROF is recognized as a GO-SHIP Associated line due to the high density and quality of its thermohaline, circulation and inorganic biogeochemistry data, especially CO2 variables.
