2DSOIL version 03
,2D finite element water, solute, and heat mover model for plant models.,Most crops are grown in rows and this introduces spatial variability in soil processes with respect to the row. However, this variability can be exploited to reduce chemical transport to groundwater or improve management of irrigation water. Unless a model can account for variability perpendicular to crop rows as well as vertically into the soil profile it will not be able to fully evaluate all possible management practices that can be used to make agriculture more efficient and less harmful to the environment. To address this concern we developed 2DSOIL, the first comprehensive, modular, two-dimensional soil simulator that can simulate the major physical, chemical and biological processes in soil. Fully implemented, principles of modular modeling facilitate the addition and replacement of modules, as well as the reuse of existing code. The modularity of 2DSOIL has been designed to make it easy to modify the model and to make it easy to incorporate into plant models. 2DSOIL was used to simulate the effect of several water and nitrogen management practices and was incorporated into ARS potato and cotton models, into the Root Zone Water Quality Model, and into the USGS Modular Modeling System.,

USDA ARS Maize Modelling Dataset, Greeley, Colorado
공공데이터포털
,A Modelling dataset containing a DSSAT cultivar file, AgMIPS platform dome code and USDA ARS LIRF drip irrigated field experiment in Greeley, Colorado average Maize biomass and yield by treatment. Irrigation treatments vary from 40% to 100% of ET. This dataset is used with the DSSAT and RZWQM2 models as part of an Agricultural Model Inter-comparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP) data node maintained at National Agricultural Library for USDA-AgMIP data. Additional data are available from https://data.agmip.org/,The complete experiment dataset in readable Excel format is USDA-ARS Colorado Maize Water Productivity Dataset 2008-2011 and can be found at http://dx.doi.org/10.15482/USDA.ADC/1254006,,
Input-Output Data Sets Used in the Evaluation of the Two-Layer Soil Moisture and Flux Model
공공데이터포털
The Excel file contains the model input-out data sets that where used to evaluate the two-layer soil moisture and flux dynamics model. The model is original and was developed by Dr. Hantush by integrating the well-known Richards equation over the root layer and the lower vadose zone. The input-output data are used for: 1) the numerical scheme verification by comparison against HYDRUS model as a benchmark; 2) model validation by comparison against real site data; and 3) for the estimation of model predictive uncertainty and sources of modeling errors. This dataset is associated with the following publication: He, J., M.M. Hantush, L. Kalin, and S. Isik. Two-Layer numerical model of soil moisture dynamics: Model assessment and Bayesian uncertainty estimation. JOURNAL OF HYDROLOGY. Elsevier Science Ltd, New York, NY, USA, 613 part A: 128327, (2022).

Central Valley Hydrologic Model version 2 (CVHM2): The Farm Process
공공데이터포털
This digital dataset contains information about the farm process parameter values are used as input to the updated Central Valley Hydrologic Model (CVHM2), which consists of 24 land use types and the corresponding monthly crop coefficient for each land use type. Land use types, initial rooting depths, and initial crop coefficients were modified from Faunt and Others (2009).

Soil-Water-Balance MODEL OUTPUT for simulations of net infiltration, runoff, and irrigation water use in the Mississippi Embayment Regional Aquifer System, 2000 to 2020
공공데이터포털
This item provides water budget simulations for the Mississippi Embayment Regional Aquifer System (MERAS) during the period 2000 to 2020. Gridded daily data (1 kilometer resolution) include net infiltration (water that might become groundwater recharge), rejected net infiltration, runoff, irrigation, actual evapotranspiration and gross precipitation The model output files are in netcdf4 format and all water budget components are in inches. The net infiltration, rejected net infiltration, runoff, irrigation, and actual evapotranspiration data sets are from simulations done with the USGS SWB model (version 2; Westenbroek and others, 2018). The precipitation and temperature data used as input for the SWB model application are derived from PRISM Climate products (PRISM Climate Group, 2020). Further details about this application of the SWB model can be found in the related primary publication.
