Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of San Juan Island National Historical Park
공공데이터포털
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Prior to conducting field visits, existing vegetation maps, soils maps , wetland locations, and 2007 NAIP 6-inch color orthophotos, provided by the NPS, were used to delineate preliminary polygons using ArcGIS™ 9.3.1. Hardcopy maps of the preliminary polygons were produced using ArcGIS™ at 1:2600 scale for non-forested vegetation and 1:1900 scale for forested vegetation.

This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Since SAAN represented a fairly small and accessible site no new imagery or aerial photography was acquired. Instead, existing sources of imagery were evaluated and three NAIP products were selected. These included the 2003, 2004, and 2005 NAIP ortho-photos. The 2003 and 2004 imagery had 1-meter resolution and the 2005 had 2-meter resolution and all were acquired at 1:12,000-scale. The 2003 and 2004 were acquired in color infrared format and the 2005 was true color. 2005 - 1:12,000-scale true color ortho-rectified imagery, compressed county mosaic, 2 meter pixel resolution 2004 - 1:12,000-scale color infrared digital ortho-imagery, compressed county mosaic, 1 meter pixel resolution 2003 - 1:12,000-scale color infrared digital ortho-imagery, compressed county mosaic, 1 meter pixel resolution

This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Color infrared (CIR) aerial photographs of the park at 1:12,000 scale was acquired by Aero-Metric, Inc. on May 11, 2011. These photos were scanned and converted to digital orthophotographs at 0.3- meter (1 ft) resolution before they were delivered to the National Park Service. Digital orthophotographs and hardcopy photographs in both film transparency and paper print formats were provided to the University of Georgia Center for Geospatial Research. A total of three photos in one flight line was required to cover Castillo de San Marcos National Monument

Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Two sets of digital orthophotography were used in the vegetation/land use mapping process after the 2003 field season: (1) a digital orthophoto mosaic that is referred to as the Battlefield Unit photomosaic and (2) digital orthophotography of the Schuyler House, Saratoga Monument, and Victory Woods areas, located approximately seven mi (11.3 km) north of the Battlefield Unit, referred to as the Old Saratoga Unit orthophotography.

Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. Aerial digital ortho-photography was the foundation imagery for map development. For Abó, the photography was acquired on April May 15, 2002 at a scale of approximately 1:3,000; for Quarai and Gran Quivira it was flown on April 2, 2003 at scales of 1:3,600 and 1:3000, respectively. The 2002-03 digital imagery has a base pixel resolution of 1.0 m. We also made use of statewide 1-meter resolution, true-color imagery from 2005 that became available in 2006 through the New Mexico Resource Geographic Information System
