Bioenergetics and Morphology of Mussels (Mytilus trossulus) in Kenai Fjords National Park
This dataset provides one table of bioenergetic and morphological measurements of Pacific blue mussels (Mytilus trossulus; N = 444) collected at three intertidal sites in Kenai Fjords National Park, Alaska. Mussels were collected at the same tidal height across all three sites on a nearly monthly basis from 2014-2015.

Intertidal Mussel (Mytilus) Data from Prince William Sound, Katmai National Park and Preserve, and Kenai Fjords National Park
공공데이터포털
These data are part of the Gulf Watch Alaska (GWA) long-term monitoring program and describe mussel sampling and observations conducted in the northern Gulf of Alaska. This dataset consists of six comma separated files (.csv): 1) mussel sampling site layout information, 2) mussel counts for mussels greater than 20 millimeters in a quadrat, 3) mussel size measurements for mussels greater than 20 millimeters in a quadrat, 4) mussel counts for all mussels collected from core samples, 5) mussel size frequencies for all mussels collected from core samples, and 6) list of Gulf Watch Alaska principal investigators and collaborators.

Laboratory studies on the thermal biology of freshwater mussels and their host fish species
공공데이터포털
Data are included for laboratory studies evaluating the thermal biology of several freshwater mussel species and their host fish including dwarf wedgemussel (Alasmidonta heterodon), brook floater (Alasmidonta varicosa), creeper (Strophitus undulatus), eastern elliptio mussel (Elliptio complanata), tesselated darter (Etheostoma olmstedi), and slimy sculpin (Cottus cognatus). Thermal endpoints include critical thermal maximum, temperature preference, oxygen consumption rates, and clearance rates of organisms acclimated to a range of temperature treatments.

Maria Island mussel and microphytobenthic algal data
공공데이터포털
The recruitment of mussels and microphytobenthic (MPB) algae to 28 experimental artificial reefs supporting different patch sizes and density of kelp (Ecklonia radiata) off Maria Island, Tasmania. The recruitment of mussels was assessed using rope fibre habitats, and the recruitment of MPB algae was assessed using microscope slides, positioned across the artificial reef and collected in November 2015. These data were collected to examine how the patch size and density of kelp influences the establishment of MPB algae and mussels.
Studies on the Metal-Containing Granules in the Mussels, Mytilus galloprovincialis and Velesunio angasi
공공데이터포털
Mussels were obtained from Cockburn Sound, WA; Derwent River Estuary, Tasmania and Copperfield Creek, NT from July 1993 to be used in a variety of experiments to test the hypothesis that metal-containing granules in the kidney of Mytilus galloprovincialis are used as a detoxification mechanism for excess zinc and to explore the validity of using the granules as a biomarker for excess zinc. Velesunio angasi was also investigated.
Biofouling and mussel growth from mussels deployed in Great Lakes embayments (2013-2016)
공공데이터포털
Many taxa of North American unionid mussels are imperiled due to biofouling by invasive dreissenid mussels. Here, we report on biofouling rates of unionid mussels suspended in cages during the growing season in nearshore embayments in Lake Erie (2013-2016), Lake Michigan (Green Bay 2016, Grand Traverse Bay 2015) and Lake Huron (Saginaw Bay 2015). Mussels were deployed in early summer (late May or early June) and retrieved in late summer or fall (late August or early September). Wet weights were collected from mussels before and after removal of biofouling taxa (primarily dreissenid mussels).
